Steelcraft Automotive 60-12260 Front Replacement Bumper fits Dodge Ram 2500, Black

Great looking smooth steel bumper. I like its design better than the bumpers made with tread plate panels. The construction is high quality with good welds. The finish coating is very good. It has a black semi gloss, textured finish that seems very tough. The bumper arrived by freight carrier strapped to a pallet. Packaging was great with plenty of padded wrap around the bumper. I installed this on my 2012 Ram 3500. Installation took several hours working by myself. An extra hand would be nice, this bumper is heavy. The only modification I will need to do is to relocate the fog lamp mounting tabs. This bumper mounts the factory fog lamps too far back in the bumper, blocking most of the light beam. They need to be mounted flush with the front of the bumper. Overall a great addition to my truck. I would purchase this again. Pros: Great looks. Quality construction. Solid installation. Con: Fog lamps blocked. Mounting brackets must be modified for proper use of factory fog lights.

This might be okay for a gas powered truck but DO NOT BUY FOR A DIESEL. When hauling heavy loads, it causes the check engine light to come on because it is not allowing enough air to the intercooler. When riding around normal it is fine but not when hauling. Save yourself the trouble and find something else! The manufacturer and seller are not very helpful either with this issue. Also, when first receiving this item, I was impressed with how well made and heavy duty it seemed. Now after 4 weeks of it being installed, it has rust spots all over.

Great design, very sturdy for the price. Worth the money. Although the fog light brackets were bent and needed reamed for the mounts to fit even with this fabrication being needed it was still worth the price. Had a few scratches from the get go but nothing major. Shipping was terrible was supposed to arrive on the 4th. Was contacted by ups on the 5th to "schedule" delivery. Was scheduled for the 8th. Never showed. On the 9th I called and got the run around. I decided on the 10th I was tired of waiting and called corporate who told me where my package was so I drove 3 hours to pick it up. Install was simple the plugs for the sensor holes are a great idea. Overall very happy with the product. Shipping on the other hand not so much.

I like everything about this bumper it looks good on my truck I’m just not happy with the damage

Let me start with the packaging and shipping of this bumper were top rate, you couldn't ask that something this size be shipped any better, mine is installed on a 2014 ram 3500, I actually mounted it myself in about 5 hours, so let me stress you'll want help.But fitment is spot on, all bolt hole are exact. And the quality of the bumper is top notch. I would recommend this bumper to everyone. I'm on my 2nd bumper and still highly recommend.

I like the bumper but, there are several big scratches and a big dent on the bottom. I’m not sure whose to blame but, it’s frustrating to say the least.

Awesome bumper. I put it on my 2011 dodge ram 3500. It was a fairly simple install. Took about 3 hours with 2 friends and a 30 rack of beer. NOTE: have a sawsall with an 8" or longer blade handy to cut the bolts that hold the mounting plate to the frame. This saves a lot of time and makes it so you dont have to disconnect your inter cooler.
