Stainless Steel Media Pins, for Brass Cleaning and Ammo Reloading

FUNCTIONS FLAWLESSLY. Much cheaper than local supplier.

Have been using for about six months. Must have for steel pin use in wet cleaning. Work for both removing from. Separator, as well as pickup of any that are dropped or spill.

Just tried it today on my tumbling media steel pins and a variety of other objects. Everything worked as described. The only complain I have is the handle. Sometimes it does not pull up smoothly. A thin layer of grease fixed it.

Works "OK" for the FA rotary tumbler steel pins. Seems to hold just a bit better than a refrigerator magnet would, not inspiring a lot of confidence. Will grab 3/4 handful of pins, but the magnet is just strong enough to hold the pins to the magnet when it is activated. Shake the magnet up and down, or spin it any more than "sllloooooowly", and steel pins will fall off and go flying. With the tiny pins FA includes with their tumblers, that could be a headache. Could have been made with a stronger magnet, to be sure. Just disappointed enough that I am still looking for other options, including possibly a commercial solution. Price is reasonable for what you are getting, so fair offering there.

Bought this at the same time as my first wet tumbler. Has become indispensable for cleaning up the stainless steel pins after emptying the brass out of the tumbler.

Works well. good value, strong enough wish it was a bit bigger but works on pins and anything else ferrous.

I have to say, for the way I use this, it is a great tool for picking up the 304 stainless pins that come with the Frankford Platinum Tumbler. The pins are easy to lose while working with them and when they fall on a dark surface and are hard to see, if you simply run the magnet across the surface, you can hear the pins being picked up. Transferring the pins from one place to another is really easy with this tool. The added bonus is that they will also pick up steel casings when you are trying to separate them from the brass ones. I don't know how they would work on other manufacturer's stainless pins, but if they are made similarly, they should be just fine.

I honestly got this on a whim, but I'm really glad I did. Not the strongest magnet in the world but it's super easy to use and for separating tiny SS pins from your load it's surprisingly effective.
