I have been using these knives for the past 3-4 days. Ranking (1- worst; 5- best) Sharpness (5 out of 5): The knives are ready to go out of the box. Very sharp and seem to hold the edge well so far. Only time can tell how durable these knives are. Will update if there are anything changes. Packaging (5 out of 5): Well-packaged and each knife have a protective cover to prevent scratches. Size (5 out of 5): Perfect size for a micro-apartment (220 sq feet). The knife set with its wooden stand fits perfectly on the small kitchen counter without taking up much space. The wood color compliments the design of the room. Ergonomic/Handling (3 out of 5): The knives are well made. However, the weight distribution is kinda off and does not feel natural compared to the other >$100 knife. The knife is quite lightweight, so the cutting down motion is not as easy as the more expensive knives. Built-quality (5 out of 5): Despite the lower price range for a knife set of 5, these knives surpass my expectation in term of built-quality. The blade and the handle connected seamlessly without any gap. The blade is thin, yet durable, and doesn't stick. I love these knives. I love the look of them and they are really sharp and easy to handle. Only gripe is they get water stains on them really easily which is annoying but other than that they are great. They cut easily and clean easily. They are so sharp that I accidently sliced my thumb when cleaning one of the knives! yikes! Seriously though! Great knives! I do not know much about quality knives but I appreciate how affordable they are.

Bought this to replace my existing old set. I wish there is one more of the 5 inch knife instead of one of the longer ones that I hardly use. I find myself using the 2 smallest sizes most often and rarely the longer ones. Having said that, the knives are well-weighted and the handle is quite comfortable to hold. The blades are sharp and cut through nicely. Cutting is quite pleasant with this set of knives.

The knives are beautiful, balanced and sharp; they appear well made and durable. A little problem with the wood block on the right side, it has a stain/varnish imperfection up and down base making for not very attractive look. I plan to sand and touch up... definitely a quality control problem with the wood block knife holder.

I'm a knife collector and knife snob. Pros: Excellent value for the price Excellent fit and finish. Very Sharp right out of the box, will shave hair. Easy to sharpen and holds edge well. Cleans easily. Good assortment of necessary knives. Storage block is finished well, not too big Nicely packaged, no damage. Seller is excellent, responds quickly to questions. Cons: NONE. I use these knives everyday and would never consider high price kitchen knives ever again.

I love these knives! They arrived just 5 days after I ordered them. The box was in perfect condition and when I opened it I was intstantly happy with my purchase. The wood handles feel smooth and comfortable in your hand and each knife is a nice weight. They all came so sharp that I cut my finger when I gently touched them. The wood block is well made and looks great on my counter. I would buy from this seller again!

I purchased this set back in Nov 2018 and its been a year and a half of usage and with minor honing they have maintained their edge. They are by and far the best bang for the buck. The handle hasn't loosened and the decorative butt caps are just as solid as the day I bought them in. As with anything how you care for it will help determine the life of your purchase. Mine are just as sharp as the day I bought them.

This is a set of high uality knives and stand for the price. I didn't need a whole bunch of knives and a big holder that would occupy too much space since we have a smaller kitchen. Knives are very sharp and easy to cut for raw meat. They served the purpose. Package arrived in less than 48 hours after purchase. Many thanks.
