My husband started taking this NAC supplement as part of his goal to improve his overall health, and we’ve been really happy with it so far. He was looking for something to support his liver and overall wellness, especially since he’s been focusing more on long-term health and energy. The capsules are easy to swallow and don’t have a strong aftertaste, which was important to him because he’s picky about supplements. It’s hard to measure supplements in dramatic ways overnight, but he says he feels good taking it and likes knowing he’s supporting his body with a trusted antioxidant. Overall, we’re pleased with the quality and value and plan to keep using it as part of his daily routine.

I am SO pleasantly surprised. I've been suffering from Trich for years. I've been to therapy, tried hypnosis, anti-depressants, wearing hats, extensions...nothing helped. Nothing could stop my hands from getting to my hair. I figured a long time ago it was a lost cause and I'd have to just deal with never having pretty hair, always having to cover up spots, clip in fake hair, ect. Thought I'd look online to see if there had been any new proven treatments for it. Found that this dietary supplement atleast "helped" most patients. Gave it a shot not expecting much. But let me tell you--for the first time in my life, I can go throughout my day and not even have one URGE to pull. It's just not there anymore. It used to be a nagging "need" in my head to relieve anxiety ALL. THE. TIME. But it's gone. The first few days I found myself going to pull a few times, but even then, there was a delay, like "Don't do it" which stopped me. Where as before I'd literally have no idea I was pulling until the damage had already been done. Trich sufferers, please try this. I am SO happy with this product. Even if it doesn't work for you, atleast you gave it a shot. It's cheap and personally, I've had no negative side effects whatsoever. Trust me!! I'm a real girl and I would never take the time to write out a review unless I was REALLY impressed with the product. Good luck to all the Trich sufferers out there, you're not alone!!! <3 Update--So, I wanted to let you guys know..that its a huge mistake to up-&-stop taking these. You need them everyday for Trich. Because I felt like I was 99% "over it", and during the holidays I was too busy/didn't care enough to remember to buy a new bottle. I backslided and did A LOT of damage to my hair. It came back 100% and THEN SOME. Just don't get too cocky and start thinking you conquered the disorder yourself. You didn't. And unfortunately, if you're like me...you'll probably be having to take these for the rest of your life. WORTH. IT.

I have been taking this NAC supplement, and I believe it has been beneficial in managing my endometriosis-related pain. I haven’t experienced any side effects while taking it, and there is no unpleasant aftertaste. Overall, it has been a very positive addition to my regimen.

My ophthalmologist recommended this combined with vitamin A and omega oils daily for dry eye to promote tear production. Bee. Using for about a week & starting to notice a difference especially when wearing my contacts.

I have been a Trich sufferer for as long as I can remember. I am now in my mid-forties and found that I was losing all control. I was a distraction to myself!!! I have tried behavior therapy, sitting on my hands, stress balls, fidgets, etc. and nothing ever worked for long. I just found out about NAC a couple of weeks ago. I decided to begin it after reading reviews of others with Trich and the success they experienced. I took just one a day for two days and saw no difference. When I increased to two a day is when I began to notice a change. I began to realize I wasn't searching for the next "fix" of my hair pulling. I only pulled maybe three hairs in the first week...which is HUGE because I could pull hundreds while watching one television program. I then increased it to three-a-day once I knew I was handling the supplement well. I realize I am only into my second full week but I cannot tell you the difference it has made. I am actually feeling liberated from the constant desire to pull. I can now feel my hair and respond to the "don't pull" signal. I am praying that this is the answer for helping me with this disorder I have battled for so long. It has become exciting to look in the mirror and see eyelashes growing and to realize I went a whole episode of a television program and didn't pull once - or desire to do so. I have only begun the research into this, but with the results I am experiencing it is definitely worth any Trich sufferers to TRY IT!

My son has been pulling his hair out since he was six (he's almost 11) and I tried all kinds of techniques and tricks to get him to stop. Parents who are dealing with this should know, shaming and berating make no difference. My son was already ashamed and felt so defeated by his trich that I knew his lack of control wasn't by choice. He often pulled without realizing it, like when your eating popcorn while watching a movie and before you know it, all the popcorn is gone. He also used it to soothe, like some people do with food or alcohol. Then one day I read about some studies using this supplement to help trich sufferers. I read the reviews and saw it did help some people (although not all). I didn't have high hopes, but I figured why not? It's been about three months (1 capsule a day seems to be enough for his 65 pounds) and my son now has a super thick head full of hair and I no longer see tufts of hair all around his bed. He had one little episode of pulling in the front, but once he became aware of it he was able to stop. This is the first time in 6 years that he hasn't begged me to wear a cap or try to fill in his bald spots with a sharpie marker. Even his doctor was surprised by the results. Thank goodness for the other reviewers who convinced me to give it a try. Update: it's been a year. My son no longer pulls and he is off the supplement! I was so worried this was going to last the rest of his life. He still has a strange sensory need to "pet" his hair, but he does not pull. Yay! Update #2: 2 years, he still pets some, but not like before where it was constant. That is also diminishing. I have found the occasional small knot of hair on the floor (like one every 3 months), where I think he was super stressed and rubbed his hair between two fingers until it knotted and fell out, but it doesn't happen enough to be a concern. He loses more hair when he uses his brush. Update #3: 4 years and he no longer pets his hair. I haven't seen knotted bits or anything. Now he's a vain peacock when it comes to his hair, primping in front of the mirror and combing it just right.
