I am very pleasantly surprised!
I wanted to just buy two or three cheapo guns to spray enamel and maybe some automotive. This gun is amazing at its price point. The design may be all too familiar with every other cheap gun out there... but the quality of this one is hands down the best I have ever seen in this price range.. and it comes with 2 cups 2 tips and 2 needles! 1 set for 1.4 and one set for 1.8. the needle pulls straight centered in the tip unlike poorly built paint guns.. making for a great pattern that is wide and uniform. the overspray wasnt bad at all.. much less than my harb frei purple guns.. and I love my purple gun with the gold knobs, its great> but this PNTGREEN is my new favorite! It cleans up well, i can be taken apart easily. its mostly all metal to metal gaskets in the nozzle end and all solvent resistant gaskets on the needle& air valves. the cup is well made and the lid fits snug without leaking. I basically took it out and ran solvent through it, made sure the seals were snug ,filled the cup with acetone and left it overnight.. It held up perfectly.. I broke it down and cleaned it once more, put on a high flow fitting , tossed the cup filter, and sprayed 3 pots of rustoleum aluminum thinned at 20% with acetone/zylene to give a galvanized look. shot a beautiful pattern and did a great job of putting the paint down evenly. its very important to have an even coat with this type of paint because it gets a pattern as it dries. Overall great gun! I actually came to buy another but theyre current unavailable. so i left a review instead. Well.. I still love this gun but they've almost doubled the price since I left this review.

Excellent results at a great price
Having spent many years laboriously painting with a brush, I decided to try using a spray gun. This gun seemed like a good quality unit at a very reasonable price, and I was not disappointed. Before diving into spraying, take the time to learn about proper use and setup (there are several good tutorials and videos on the web). Understanding what all those knobs do and how they affect the spray pattern is really important (and unfortunately the instructions that come with the gun are of little help). Also, get some mixing cups (important for thinning paint) and some paint strainers. My first use of the gun was to repaint some vanity cabinet doors. Using a gun is so much easier than brushing when you have raised panels and edge details to paint! I sprayed BM Advance paint (thinned with about 15% water) and was able to get an amazingly smooth and even finish with the gun adjusted correctly (test spray some scrap pieces first to get everything dialed in first). Cleanup is definitely the downside of using a gun. You will need to remove the cap and nozzle with the provided tool, and use the little brush to clean out the paint chamber. Once everything is clean, used compressed air to blast out any lingering water and leave the gun disassembled to dry. It's a bit of work, but provided you have enough painting to do, the net gain over using a brush is well worth it (and thorough cleaning is the key to keeping the gun working well).

Amazing sprayer. Well worth it.
This sprayer was a total game changer for staining my fence. Iโve never used one before and now Iโm obsessed. I painted one coat on 7 panels in 30 minutes and could have been quicker if I had a larger compressor but I took breaks to build pressure back up. The hardest part of the project was refilling the the hopper just because I was pouring from a 5-gal into the smaller tank. I may do another coat but just wanted to endorse this product as it was great the whole time.

Impressive
Very impressive for the price you pay! I paint professionally and needed an inexpensive backup just in case! I started using this at home for some small projects and wow I'm super impressed! It sprays consistent and easy to clean, very strong and sturdy, no issues with any of the parts! Very good product!

Lots of spitting
I used to paint show cars and have several HVLP guns in the $300+ range but none with a 1.8mm tip which I needed for spraying Cabinet Coat, so I bought this. For under $40, it's a steal if it works for you. Unfortunately the spray pattern I'm seeing is not smooth and it's spitting heavily. Reducing the fan width improves it slightly, increasing the air volume to the max setting also helps, but the only way to get rid of it is by bringing my air pressure up to about 70psi with the trigger pulled which is WAY over the recommended rating of 20psi for this material. With that much air pressure I'm still getting a finish that is not much better than a roller and requires sanding and refinishing with another gun. When switching to my 1.5mm high-end gun, the finish is smooth like butter but I can't get the volume I need with that tip painting cabinets and I have to thin the material a touch beyond the specs. I'm meticulous with cleaning my guns and have taken this apart to see what's wrong with it but nothing is standing out. Seems well built and the trigger operates smoothly but the spitting is just beyond anything I've ever seen in any HVLP gun. Thankfully Cabinet Coat is forgiving as it flattens very well such that your average Joe won't notice the "rolled" finish... but as a former car painter, I might as well have picked up my roller and saved a lot of time and hassle on my last job. I'd have given this 1 star if not for the price. You get what you pay for and for the money paid, I should not complain.

Best bang for your buck
Honestly I didn't expect much when I bought this, as a professional automotive body technician I have several paint guns some I paid $800 for, now while this is noticebly different from those I'm extremely satisfied with how well this sprays I mean it lays out paint really good and it has a nice even pattern. I can't complain Update!! So it started leaking around the air nozzle after a few weeks of continuous use, had to throw it out. For the prize it's perfect for someone that has a project that just needs a few uses out of it. Other than that I wouldn't count on it for long term use.

Excellent low price HVLP
I was skeptical but I was able to lay down epoxy primer (speedkote) , high build primer(paintforcars brand), epoxy sealer(thinned speedkote), basecoat (autopainthq urethane) and clear (paintforcars urethane) without a single gun related problem. My skills are highly lacking and there were problems with the clear due to temperature (53 degrees by the time I got to the clear but I couldn't stop) . The spray gun was not one of the issues though. I've previously used the Harbor Freight cheap guns to spray a few motorcycles. This one lays down much better and the trigger feels smoother and lighter. It's worth the price.

gun worked well with Limco Urethane Single Stage paint
I used this gun to paint 2 fenders and a tailgate with Limco Low VOC Industrial Urethane Single Stage paint . it went on fairly well , looks good after 3 coats , maybe a touch of orange peel , this gun has a 1.7 tip, may want a bit finer tip for this paint .

The spray gun not worth the money. Wish i can return.
It was not wat i expected for that money. Not happy. Fan pattern uneven...terrible. Never buy again.

Not as advertised
Missing parts. Paint gun is advertised to include 2 different sized spray nozzles. Only 1 nozzle came with gun. Service tools for the gun were also advertised but not included with the gun. I returned this product for a refund.
