Can it withstand heat for cooking?

Yes! I used this for covering turkey while roasting. That would work nicely to keep the bird moist and flavorful though i would recommend removing it and turning up the temp for the last 20 min to crisp up skin.

Is it reusable? how should it be cleaned?

As soon as you pull it off the cheese soak it in hot bleach water, rinse well and air dry. There may be a few bits of cheese that stick in the cloth but I just repeat the process before use on the next batch.

Can you cut the cloth down to size? I want to use it to steep tea leaves.

This cheesecloth is one large sheet so you can cut the exact size you need.

Does the cloth have a cooking twine to tight it close ?

It contains the cooking twine, you can use it for cheese straining. I used twine for roasting chicken in air fryer. Worked great.
