I have always had good luck with Dell Computers and this has been no different. It was easy to set up and get going with. The back lit keyboard makes it easy to see . The screen size is perfect for on the go work. It is by no means the top of the line but for doing just every day work it is perfect. The only thing I would change it adding a couple more USB ports but a simple USB hub fixes that. I have not had any heat issues. The price I paid was perfect. I got great value since I bought it at the lowest price I could find. The color is just fine. I didn't have any desire for any crazy colors. It arrived in great condition.

I've had this for a couple months now and I LOVE it! I had ONE issue where it wouldn't power up. I have no idea what happened but I got locked out and had to access my Bitlocker key code from my Microsoft account to open up the laptop. It worked and at this point, I would have no problem purchasing this laptop again.

I purchased this for my wife in November 2025 for $400, but it is currently over $700 with the spike in memory and storage prices. The laptop is very good quality and does a everything she needs it to do which is use a browser and run local MS Office apps. Interestingly it does get very hot and the vents are positioned bottom center towards the hinge, so I would not actually advise to use it on your lap. The fan is very loud compared to my Lenovo X1 Carbon and Macbook Pro M5 Pro. While I may have recommended this back in 2025, it is harder to recommend at $700. In this new price range, I would get a used Macbook Air M3 or higher with 16GB RAM, or Dell New XPS 13 with 16GB RAM (but that will cost $900) if you must have a brand new device or a Windows machine.

This laptop is amazing for it function and value. I'm so happy with the lit keyboard, super-fast boot time, and the built in numeric keypad. The weight of the laptop, the lid closure, and the feel of the keyboard are all tremendous! This feels like a very high-quality laptop! The screen resolution and refresh rate a baller. The sound quality is AWESOME! At 15.6" the screen is huge for a laptop and makes reading and viewing a lot easier. 100% groovy!

This computer gets seriously hot. The heat radiates from both the bottom and the keyboard. I think it is a fire hazard and my leg felt a little cooked where the computer sat while I tried (unsuccessfully) to fix it. This is a known problem - one Dell claims to have fixed - where the fan doesn't run other than at start up. But even when the bios has been updated (which is the fix recommended by dell), the 'power boost' is turned off and the cpu is set at 99% instead of 100% it still gets dangerously hot. What is with these crappy computer manufacturers releasing garbage computers? HP is in my rearview mirror after 3 lemons and an HD+ nightmare, and now Dell. This is a known problem with Dell computers - I found posts trying to fix Dell laptop heating issues from 2019! My cheap little Acer has worked longer with less wear-and-tear damage than 3 terrible HPs and this crappy Dell added together.

Good value for the money. Easy to install programs and download bookmarks and contacts. Screen and sound quality are good.

I really like this laptop. It is easy to use and has plenty of features. I use it daily and I am happy with the performance!

Works well. Compatible and great for college use

The Dell laptop performs as you would expect from Dell. I only use the computer for internet, Microsoft Office, and Youtube. In testing the product on these apps, there were no issues and I am pleased with this product. Speakers are also of good quality. Backlit keyboard also comes in different lighting thresholds for a nice touch. Touchpad is also receptive to the touch and doesn't overcompensate. Battery life is about three hours. Thank you Amazon and Dell for another quality laptop.

Excellent, fast, dependable computer

Not happy. Just get back from BestBuy Geek Squad. My laptop is dropping the internet frequently, thought it was the house internet. It's not, it's the laptop. This is the 4th laptop, I believe, that I have bought from Amazon in < a year. They have all had serious problems, even though the sellers claim they are NEW. I guess my lesson is to stop buying laptops from 3rd party sellers on Amazon.
