Pet Wellbeing Young at Heart for Senior Dogs - Heart & Circulation, 2 oz

This is what I call a miracle worker. My chihuahua had grade 6 heart murmur back in may 2025. She has an enlarged heart along side her heart murmur. The medication the bvets gave vetmedin and something else. It was making her so much worse and poorly so after reducing her meds and adding the drops recommended for her weight she started perking up and eventually I gradually took her off the tablets and she now only on this liquid. Her vet trips was costing me around £180 a month and wasn’t working and I’m paying £37 for this and it’s working. I took her recently to the vets after buying this in October 2025 to now January 2026 her heart murmur has gone down to grade 4. I couldn’t be more happier she’s back to her normally happy bundle of joy self. This is a miracle worker I couldn’t be more thankful for them selling and producing this.

We are really impressed with this . Delayed putting a review because I needed to see if it works. It’s certainly made a difference to our Yorki who has a slight heart condition. The awful coughing is improved. She’s very happy and so are we. Prefer the alternative route to traditional meds. On our second bottle.

I’m not sure if it’s working yet but could be good. It’s misleading because I thought I was getting 2 bottles for the price but only received 1 bottle which makes using this regularly is too expensive.

I was concerned about trying my dog on this, she has a new diagnosed heart murmur and had recently had dramatic and horrifying seizures that had bounced her across a room. However I needn’t have worried, my nine year old cocker spaniel is much more energetic and bouncy with no obvious downsides whilst taking this ‘Young at Heart.’ She also began low level thyroxine before taking this, so it’s hard to separate the two effects but I was very relieved to find this tincture, which, after much research, I found is the perfect combination of herbs for heart murmurs in dogs. She also began as therapy for her heart, Q10, taurine, L carnitine, and a mineral & vitamin supplement from ‘nature’s best’ formulated for dogs, which includes magnesium and calcium which the best cardiologist in apparently Europe uses for his heart patients.

My dog has fewer heart coughs since taken this liquid. Sheena

My beloved chihuahua who was only 8 years and 4 months old died after taking this for the first time an hour later. Back in January we were told he has a slight heart murmur and to keep an eye on it but he hated the vets more than anything and this caused him to panic. Almost a year later I noticed his breathing was very fast even when sleeping and developed a nasty cough. Knowing going to the vets would cause his heart a lot of harm I bought this in hopes it would help before torturing him with a vet visit and it came the next day. He had a good day playing had nice walks and my dog being the dog he was he went to my bedroom to hump his favourite teddy when we heard a blood curdling scream and found him on his side barely breathing next to his teddy. He died in my arms in the vet car park. It could be a coincidence or it could be this product I don’t know but needed to write an honest review I couldn't forgive myself if this happened to another dog. Seems to work, although I'm only giving 1/2 recommended dose 1xday before bed so she has a settled night. Her breathing is less laboured and her nose is no longer warm and dry. She also seems a lot happier in herself and appears to enjoy walkies a bit more, although she does still get tired. Happy I gave it a try and gave now bought a 2nd bottle

My dog seems to like the product, he hasn’t spit it out anyway, I can’t say wether he’s any better for taking it as he has only had it for 3 days

My puppy was having breathing problems. I literally thought collapsed trachea. Vet must have thought the same. X-rays, antibiotics, medication to relax somewhat for choking!!!! Just crazy. X-rays good but breathing difficulties continued. She would look at me unable to breathe horrified baby. Nothing worked. Vet bills and no solving. I was lost. Searched on Amazon and this is what popped up. After a few doses her breathing attacks went from 20+ in 12 hours to ONE! This was my very first supplement for an animal. It has been amazing! My puppy is now 4 months old 1.6 lb. and I don’t even need to give her the supplant now BUT… I’ve bought two other supplements. Same company, same great taste, no more 700.00 vet bills because these ALL work. A true miracle! Literally cured my ill puppy. My animals will not eat dog treats yet take these perfectly as if enjoyable. Worth every penny.

This product has given my dogs years more to live. He was given 6months to live, he has enlarged heart & grade 6 heart murmur. that was 3 years ago. He is doing great & my vet said he’s amazed at how well he is doing. The black ring on dropper is NOT mold. It is naturally occurring separation. I phoned the company to ask. My dog has gone through more than 20 bottles & each bottle has it.

Took my boy to see the vet fir his heart murmur and they said he has improved. I wad sceptical at first but it's been a game changer for me and my boy

My male chihuahua was diagnosed with heart disease July 2016 [9 years old, grade III/VI, degenerative mitral valve disease], and at the time, his veterinary cardiologist did not recommend or suggest any supplements to support his heart. Because I was so relieved that he did not require any medications at the time, I was totally okay with just continuing to do what I was always doing. One year later, July 2017, we went back to the cardiologist for a check up - I got another great report stating that his heart disease has not progressed. Once again, I asked about anything I could give to support the heart, and he said that there isn't any research out there that suggests supplements in pets slow down the progression of the disease. At this point, I was not satisfied with that answer and went out to do some research on my own. That's when I read about Hawthorn in humans and how in people with valve issues, this tincture has really improved their cardiovascular health - so of course, I had to try it out - PLUS it's bacon flavor, a big hit with a sometimes picky chihuahua. Angus has been receiving this in his food twice daily, 5 drops each meal, since November of 2017. He does get an echocardiogram every 6 months, but the cardiologist visits are only once annually. July 2018, the cardiologist was genuinely surprised by Angus's progress, or lack there of in this case, and reported that Angus is "beating the odds" and that he has static heart changes from last year. What pet owner wouldn't want to hear that?? Angus has never refused his food because of the flavor, each bottle has arrived intact, quickly through Amazon, and the dropper is long enough to get every last drop out of the bottle! Angus turns 12 next month, and just had his 6 month echo performed with still the same numbers and report. I hope to update this in July to see what changes, hopefully none there will be. It could be that I am lucky, and this supplement doesn't help at all, but reading the human articles and studies, I believe that to be not quite the case. I know at some point Angus WILL need heart medications, but the idea behind this supplement is to push that off as far as possible. He also eats a raw diet, gets Ubiquinol, Antinol, and CBD oil - he also gets quite a few joint/dental supplements but those are not related to heart health (: If any of my dogs develop heart disease due to a valve issue in the future, I will always go to this supplement. And always let your veterinary team know ALL supplements you are giving your dog, especially something like this, because it could alter the way medications work for your pet. NOV 2019 UPDATE: So Angus had another echo last week, and at this time, there is a recommendation to start Vetmedin. He now has a 4/6 murmur but still in stage B2 (which he has been in since at LEAST last year). On a positive note, Angus has gone for 3.5 years without needing any medications and even now, he is doing EXCELLENT! I have not noticed any coughing, exercise intolerance, lack of appetite, nothing - So overall, I truly believe that this supplement has given Angus even more time with me, and starting Vetmedin now is still a proactive approach (based off of the EPIC trial study that was done). He is turning 13 in Feb, and I am very happy with how well he is doing overall.

Has definitely helped my senior dog. Fast shipping. Would prefer product to be packaged in glass instead of plastic, but Pet Wellbeing make great natural products. Will buy again
