Cover had section that did not adhere well otherwise nice

I really like these photo albums. The only problem I had was when trying to put a photo in the front cover it’s almost impossible not to rip the backing. The space is very tight and the backing is paper. I also struggled to find 3 horizontal pictures and 2 vertical pictures that go in the same set but that’s a planning issue on my part.

I use these photo albums exclusively. Great quality! Fair price!

Very well made. Holds vertical as well as horizontal photos

What I like: 1. This is a beautiful album. 2. I was looking for an album that would hold over 425 photos. There is room to spare, but it fit the bill. What I don't like: 1. Each page has three horizontal pockets and two vertical pockets. (I knew this when I purchased the album, but it was still the best available to meet my needs so I went with it. But if I ruled the world, all of the slots would be oriented the same way.) Some of my photos are vertical and some are horizontal... BUT...BUT...I am placing photos in chronological order and each five photos are not in a pattern that fits that layout. Most of my photos are horizontal; yes, we'd still have to flip the book around to see vertical ones, but there's more flipping with this layout. 2. There is a pocket on the cover for a photo. Great idea, right? Well...... the slot is for a 5 x 5 photo. Who even makes 5 x 5 photos? This book is for 4 x 6 pictures, and it would be better to have a 4 x 6 pocket. 3. The pocket for the cover photo is not sturdy. As soon as I started to remove the plastic insert for the photo, the side of the pocket tore (see photo). I had to tape it with package tape, which looks tacky considering this is a gift. I have two more albums to fill (also gifts) and hope those pockets don't tear as well.
