They are not non-slip and do not lie flat so I used small pieces of tape to hold paper in place (as they curled at edges due to being sold in rolled manner versus lying flat - which would have had creases). Paper was easy to cut to size as drawers were longer than paper length but depth was a perfect match for me. Expect sturdiness to last for considerable time during usage but paper is thin and possibly may tear with heavy hands or usage (of which I do not intend to exhibit either). Because it is paper, I do not believe "cleaning" will be happening; however, if dust occurs, wiping with a dry cloth is an option. I am really pleased with the cedar pattern, the aroma and neatness once installed. I also bought recommended cedar blocks and cedar refresher spray to maintain cedar scent.
