Great Oil for High-Mileage Engines
I’ve been using Valvoline Full Synthetic High Mileage oil and have been very happy with it. It’s a great choice for older, higher-mileage engines and gives me confidence that I’m getting good protection against wear, deposits, and leaks. The engine runs smooth and quiet, and I like the added protection designed specifically for vehicles with some miles on them. Valvoline is a brand I’ve trusted for years, and I’ll continue using it.

Good Oil
I ordered a case of Valvoline Max Life Full Synthetic 10W-30. What I received was a case of Valvoline SynPower Full Synthetic 5W-40. Part Number VV180 (ordered) versus Part Number VV966 (received). What was delivered is a good oil, but my engine, with over 265,000 miles, would get more help from a high-mileage oil such as Max Life.

Best one yet
I was previously using the Valvoline MaxLife 5W-30 full synthetic but due to the age of my engine I had to move to a thicker oil. This oil has been great. The engine runs smoother than it was, and the slight leak that had formed from using the 5W-30 stopped so thats an A+ as well. I will have to see how it does over the long term, but for now I am very pleased with this product.
