Chocolate Florentine Cookies 1 lb - by Best Cookies

I have purchased these several times over the years and have been more than satisfied. These invoke so many New Jersey childhood memories, as the texture and flavor is legit from little family owned corner bakeries. .is there breakage upon receipt? Yup. There is some, but it’s not extensive and the cookies are so fragile, however when we order the 5 pounder to put into cookie tins, there is always enough. I can’t recommend these enough and will be happy once they are back in stock so I was stop trolling them. 😂😂😂

Being from LI NY (and now living in NC) I am always on the hunt for some REALLY GOOD baked goods, which are just... not the same here. These lace cookies did NOT disappoint and I will be ordering them for Christmas again next year... if I can wait that long! ;) I have hidden the few that are remaining so I can slowly savor them lol. Annnd they come from just a few towns over from where I grew up so that was an extra pleasant surprise! If you are torn between these and the "Lacey's" brand cookies? I ordered both. There is no comparison. THESE are the real deal! Thank you guys for sending a piece of home to me and my family for the holidays. Fantastic product, packaged very well, only one cracked cookie which is more than I can say when I actually physically get them directly from a NY bakery lol.

Cookies were excellent. Packed well, so very little breakage. We moved the cookies into tins, to allow them to stay fresh. Original packaging was similar to what you would find in a bakery- functional, but not resealable wrap. Cookies were delicious. Would be perfect for a group, or gathering. Must like chocolate!

Cookies were in a firm box which kept them from too muck breakage. However the outer box, although shipped UOS, was a much too large post office box which took two people to remove. The entire tray of cookies was one melted mess. I refrigerated it overnight and was able to remove them in the morning without too much breakage. The cookies are not as goo as lace cookies made with butter and almonds or hazelnuts but stil quite good

So good, purchased 5 pound size, and distributed to grands, loved them and had plenty left over. Good quantity, quality and taste for price. Very unique recipe, very thin like wafer, but loaded with chocolate. Yumm! Suggest you try. You won't be dissapointed. And they taste homemade too.

I don't know what was in these cookies but they were not the traditional Florentine Swirl Cookies. They tasted a little burnt. Twenty-five percent were broken. I gave some as a gift to my bank employees and tasted them myself later and felt ill. I thought maybe I ate too many, but my boyfriend had a couple and felt ill, also. How embarrassing! I wish I could have returned them, but they were food products and you're not allowed to return them. I wish I could have gotten my money back.

Not as good as I had hoped. Not very sweet. Many broken and crumbled upon delivery.

Absolutely delicious! Fresh and tastes exactly how I was hoping it would. I'm in Florida so they were a little melty also I would have preferred the cookies separated into packages instead of all 5 pounds on one tray.
