4ZA Men's Stratos Light Steel Rail Saddle

I'll admit that I bought this saddle for two reasons: Firstly, my bike has a royal blue thing going on, and the highlights on this saddle matched that color scheme nicely. Secondly, the saddle was on sale for $14, so if it didn't work out then I wasn't out of pocket.Now, saddles are a highly personal thing, mainly because everyone's butts are shaped differently. However, I just came back from my first ride, a 50 mile jaunt, and I didn't even think about the saddle through until I finished the ride, where my thoughts were, 'hey, that was pretty comfortable!'1-star off for being kinda heavy, but this saddle certainly has earned its place on my bike, and for the price, a winner.

Messing around with certain options led me to a White / Black in 145mm for the price of $7. Since I just wanted a budget saddle, I decided this one was the best (looking) for the price.Now to anyone looking to buy a saddle, always remember that different people need different saddles. Some people prefer more cushion, wider saddles, those kinds of things. Keeping that in mind, this saddle was surprisingly comfortable for me. I will admit, it is quite hard, but the fit was quite nice for me, and its held up for some time.

The seat came in great condition. It's comfortable. Feels better than my old seat. It almost eared 5/5 stars. It lost two stars because it's a much lighter shade of blue than pictured. I specifically bought this saddle because it matched the colors of my bike. The pictured saddle is the same shade of blue as my bicycle, but the saddle that I received is much lighter.

Haven't ridden but once so far...decided on changing the crank after initial ride. Was a little stiffer than I expected but, no excess pains or numbing just needing ridden (I hope). Maybe I will update after I have made some changes to the bike. It is definitely a good looking saddle.

There is not enough cushion on the seat, if you are riding your bike for 40 miles or more, this is not the seat for you.

It's very annoying that the width of the Saddle is not 145 mm as discribed. It's smaller, 140 mm. The right size was very important for me!
