The water timer works like a charm! It was easy to hook up and program, it works the way I wanted it to work and I especially like the brass fittings.

Using two of the manual units for a couple weeks now. Performing as expected. I agree with other reviewers that set-up is easy. The dial is a bit touchy but functional. Switching to manual watering was easy. I learned from prior units not to let the connecting hose put stress on the connections. I paid attention this time not to let the unit hold up the weight of the hose as my spigots don’t point down. Avoiding this should allow these to last several years. Also hoping the brass connections won’t wear out or break like the plastic ones. When buying, I missed I could bundle two for a lower price. Instead, I ordered two single units at the higher price. Watch for this.

It does the job, I do find the system a little on the sensative side when adjusting. I would have liked the ability to run again the same day at intervals of 10 or 12 hours.

Cycles reliably. Programming dial is very touchy. So you have to go back and double check settings. Can't set either zone to zero, so if you have trouble on one zone, it still has to go on for at least one minute. Guessing I can cap off this zone port. Didn't want to break the timer doing that.
