REMARKABLY comfortable out of the box. You can smell the leather, and the steel toe appears extremely durable.They fit extremely well (with wiggle room), and have a remarkably padded sole. They slide on without any fight of hassle. The tongue appears cushioned.Bending your ankle in these boots is absolutely incredibly comfortable. No stiff sides.The only thing I wonder is about long term durability. I’m no expert with steel toe boots, but I’m concerned with the “broke in” feel right out of the box, it might lead to premature problems. I’ll try to remember to write an update in 6 months and 12 months.Size is true to fit (and this seems true with me). If you’re a first time steel toe boot buyer, and your foot measures a men’s size 9, buy a 9.5. The leather itself is durable but soft. I really can't say enough good things about them! I hope they're still available when I need a new pair, because I would definitely buy these again!
