Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Mobile Phone SIM Free Android Smartphone 128 GB Black

The A55 is a fantastic phone. Until recently I always had flagship Samsung phones until I decided to break the cycle and go sim only. Tri ed a couple of other brands, Nokia and Blackview, which were great on batteries but seemed to achieve this by shutting down apps which didn't work for me. Then I found the A55 and it is awesome. It has dual sim capability which is excellent (home sim / work sim) and is as fast and functionally excellent as any of the flagship Samsung I have had. The only thing missing really is wireless charging, but I bought an Olixar attachment and a handful of wireless chargers and it works brilliantly, so I never have to plug the phone in anymore. I thoroughly recommend the A55, you will not be disappointed.

The phone was delivered on time, was well packed so if there were any mishaps during the shipping process it would not get damaged. The screen quality and size are perfect for me, and charging is fast. It was easy to set up. It is great value for the money. I am pleased with my purchase.

Good phone, battery doesn't last as much as I want

I recently switched to the A53 from my Samsung Galaxy M31, primarily due to the need for 5G connectivity, since the M31 only supported 4G or lower. Let me start by saying that both phones are exceptional considering their price points. However, the A53 has proven to be a significant upgrade from my trusty M31. One standout feature of the A53 that has left me thoroughly impressed is its front-facing fingerprint reader. Unlike the M31, which had its fingerprint sensor on the back, the A53's placement on the front feels more intuitive and convenient. It's a small change, but it makes a big difference in day-to-day usage. Another area where the A53 shines is its screen clarity. Whether I'm streaming Netflix or watching YouTube videos, the display quality is top-notch. The visuals are crisp and vibrant, providing an immersive viewing experience that's hard to match in this price range. In terms of performance, the A53 has proven to be noticeably faster and more responsive than my M31. Apps load swiftly, multitasking is a breeze, and overall, it just feels snappier in everyday use. This improved performance has added to my overall satisfaction with the phone. To complete my experience, I paired the A53 with a Spigen Rugged Armor Phone Case. After owning an s8 and having always purchased the high end phones every time I renew a phone, I thought I'd change my approach and try out owning a mid range phone which let's me upgrade sooner in a few years. The phone is fast, all games run fine for me, the camera is excellent, and it pretty much does exactly what I need. At this price, it's much cheaper than the rrp. The phone doesn't come with a charger and you'll want a 25w charger to see the fastest charging times. It takes no more than 1 hour to go from 1% to 100%. No issues found, delivered in protective packaging. I would highly recommend. I don't see much gained by spending an extra 500 for the high end models.

I purchased this phone in September 2023. The performance is overall good. The adaptive screen lighting is sometimes glitchy. Camera is very good. Last week the WiFi stopped working. I went through Samsung's online troubleshooting process and could not fix it. By the end they advise to go to Samsung's repair or customer service to seek further help. At the Samsung Customer Centre, I was told this is not a UK version and it actually came from the UAE. And so they won't touch it or attempt to repair it. I reached out to the seller and was told the phone is out of warranty! less than a year since purchased.. So now I have a broken phone, which the seller refuses to refund, and Samsung refuses to repair. This is a complete let down by the seller and Samsung. I've wrote back to the supplier and if I don't get a satisfactory response, I'll be asking Amazon to resolve this issue. Based on this experience, I don't recommend this phone.

Bought this in mid 2023, it's a great phone that still holds up well in 2025. Excellent display, battery life is amazing, lasts up to 2 days with my semi-moderate use. However, updates for this phone would end soon, so I would recommend finding another handset to buy if you want to stay secured for updates.

Har 50% batteri kvar när jag lägger mig och jag använder telefonen flitigt på jobbet. Min gamla telefon hade kanske 10% och då fick jag dra ner på ljusstyrkan och stänga av appar osv. Samtalskvalitén är hög och skärmen samt högtalarna är väldigt bra. Enda nackdelen jag kan komma på är att den skickas utan 230V laddare och trådlös laddning klarar den ej. Men för 3500kr ger jag den 5 i betyg, det är mycket för pengarna.
