It's not too fancy for casual outfits. I bought this as a belt to wear on my natural waist with a dress. I am a size 16 and I still have an hour glass curve at my natural waist, despite having a belly. I bought the XL and it was too big. I didn't want to return it, so I used a hole punch on the Stampin' Up Cropidile to add extra holes.
