A: There seems to be a debate about the toxicity if you look online, but PVC is used for plumbing in homes and businesses as well as for irrigation.

**Q: What material is this made from?**
A: They are really high quality plastic. If you don't have any Schleich toys, I highly recommend them. The quality is outstanding and they are hand painted. They last forever.
