This is an impressive little coffee brewer and a great value, considering that comparable units can sell for up to $150. What it produces is not exactly espresso, but you can get a strong, reasonably hot 2oz serving out of this machine when using the right dark roast. Coffee pods are clean and convenient and in the spirit of "portability" this machine is made for. The machine works well using ground coffee too, and it can handle a pretty fine espresso grind. However, be prepared for a bit of spillage while you try to load it up with your own ground coffee, as well as some messy cleanup of the grounds afterwards.

Stop functioning properly around 3rd week. Didn’t have an issue until just few days ago. Everyday I pull two (2) consecutive shots, no problem (both HOT water pulled correctly). Then last time I tried, the 2nd shot did not pull HOT water, just the 1st pull. I waited a few days and tried again, but still have an issue with the 2nd pull. Seems like a known and common issue. If this happens to you, you probably got my return. Have fun!
