I’ve never been that compelled to get an eyelash lift, but after seeing so many insta adds for some I decided to head to Amazon and purchase one to try. I read reviews and looked at images of a bunch of different kits and settled on this one. First I did what most people recommended, which was watch some YouTube tutorials. It didn’t matter what kit they were using because what I came to learn is they all have 3 steps (they call them different things based on what brand products they use) once you get the lashes glued. Getting the pad glued to my eyelid was the most challenging part. Then I did what one video instructed which was to place a piece of tape from upper eyelid over the eyebrow and onto the lower forehead. This helps get the eyelid taut. I trimmed a bit of the rubber pads ends off so it fit my eyelid properly, or it will be nearly impossible to get it glued on. I definitely didn’t do the best job getting the innermost and outermost lashes glued onto the pad, nor completely separating each lash from each other, ultimately the photos attached are how my first try went. I used a nail art tool similar to a toothpick(but pointier and made of metal) to break up the clumps and then added more glue to keep them in place. Your best bet is to start gluing from the outer lashes in small sections until you reach the inner lashes, because the glue dries too fast to get them all on and separate at one time. Also the step one and two products are only to be placed from the base to middle of the lashes, this is where you want the curl to occur. I did use the die, as you can see by the dark spot on my nose lol, and left that on for 20 minutes and they came out nice and dark. Overall I think with patience that anyone can do this themselves, or instruct someone else to do it to themselves. Highly recommend, made a massive difference, better than expected. Oh ps, there was the occasional very slight burning on my eyelid because I didn’t quite get the pad glued all the way down to my lash line, but within 20 minutes it felt better. Do Not get your eyelashes wet for 25-48 hours!

These were the best before and afters I could find. I did this last tint/lift before going to Europe for 2 weeks. I have long and straight lashes so this definitely made a big difference in showing how long my lashes look with a good curl. The curl lasted 3-4 weeks. After the curl was starting to come down, I ended up losing 1/2 of my lashes along with losing the lift. (losing lift was expected). It took my lashes about 2 months to grow back and be full again. I would not recommend this to anyone!

I wish there was just a little more detail in the directions but I googled a few things and was ok. Overall, doing both brows & lashes took 2-3 hours, to lift & tint. Maybe next time it won’t take as long. I used micellar water to remove the steps before moving on to the next one. Remove each lotion before moving to the next one. I waited 48 hours before getting my brows & lashes wet then when I finally washed my face, I went back and coated them with castor oil to start nourishing them again. But I was using the included nourishing liquid while I couldn’t get them wet. The pads do stick but make sure your eyes are clean and free from oil. I also got them a little warm in my hands and bent them so they were more formed to my eye shape, like you do strip lashes. I used the small but I think next time I’ll use the medium. I’m satisfied with this product. I think it was easy enough to do on yourself and for a beginner. The pictures are before, after, 48 hours later after getting them wet. The tint isn’t as good as I’d like, so maybe adding more would be helpful. But I’d rather have less the first time than over doing it for the holidays.

I really like this product and will purchase it again. But here are some things you need to know: *No instructions were included with the product, so I had to look at the product description on Amazon to get the step by step directions. The directions are not thorough! You will definitely need to watch YouTube tutorials and tips BEFORE you attempt this. *Be sure to have everything you will need before you start the process. There were a lot of extras that I needed that are not included in the kit— cotton swabs, cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, paper medical tape. *It is NOT something you want to try on yourself. It is MUCH easier if you get a friend. I did my daughter’s lashes and she did mine. I included a pic of what hers looked like after gluing them to the shield. *Lastly, have realistic expectations of the results. It is not a miracle product. If you take a before & after, you will be happier to see the results. We forgot to do that for my daughter, and although hers looked great after the lift & tint, she wished she could have seen the comparison.

I only used for lashes. The hardest part is really getting the lash pads to stick to your lid properly and then to get your lashes evenly glued down and straight, after that it’s simple. I tried this 2x and tried different methods for each eye both times, tried to wipe product in between steps with a dry qtip and one dipped in water. Both times, my lashes looked beautiful when glued down but quickly over curled once everything was washed. I did try to trouble shoot and saw that sometimes leaving excess product can cause that so following the first eyelid, I scrubbed my lashes the best I possibly could and minimized the cure time. Still, my lashes dry to be over curled like soft little pubes on my freaking eyelid, it’s terrible. I would like to note that my lashes were virgin prior to this so there was no damage and I did wait proper time in between the first and second applications. This was just not right for my lashes, sadly. *Update* Although the perm didn’t work well for my lashes, I have continued to use the tint. The seller also reached out offering a refund since the product did not work for me which really made me feel good about not having money wasted.
