Durable
Seems to work well for tracking rainfall and nice to keep an eye on irrigation in our landscape beds. Already had some freezing temps and they hold up fine, much better than the plastic versions. A little more cost, but worth it for durability.

Simple and Durable
Only wishing I would have found this sooner. I mainly have been using it as a rain gauge since I rarely ever waste water to water my lawn. Since it's made from silicone it is extremely durable and has lasted outdoors for the entire Chicago winter without breaking glass. I use it to help me gauge how much rainfall I receive to determine how often I need to set my timers to water my raised garden beds. It marks 2" of waterfall at its fullest point. It's small, lightweight and super simple to move and relocate to different spots in the yard and stays put when stuck in the ground. Sticks just slightly over 2" high and looks barely visible among my plants. Extremely useful lawn and garden tool every homeowner should have in their tool kit.

Great gauge
This sprinkler gauge is pretty good. I’ve been using it to keep track of how much water my own lawn is getting, and I really appreciate the bright purple color because it makes it so easy for me to spot in the grass. It is made of a clear, thick plastic that feels strong and reliable, and I don't feel like it’s going to crack or break if I accidentally knock it over. The build quality is solid, and it really feels like it was put together well. I didn’t notice any defects in the craftsmanship, and the measurement markings are printed so clearly that I can read them from a distance without any trouble. The shape helps it stay steady in the ground for me, so it doesn’t tip over when my sprinklers are running. It's held up well against the weather, so I haven't had to worry about it falling apart outside. It works well for my gardening and for checking that my sprinklers are hitting the right spots. The plastic is simple, and I find it very easy to rinse out if dirt gets inside. I would recommend this as an option to consider if someone needs a sturdy and simple tool to help manage their outdoor watering.

Easy to Use / Place. Moderately Readable (Translucent). Flexible Capture Area.
The Flexible 2” Silicone Water/Sprinkler Gauge (ASIN: B0FYQVPBNY) works well. The bottom post that one inserts into the soil is rigid. This allows it to be pushed into soft or moist soil and be held steadily in place. The top water capture area is of a soft silicone material. This allows it to deform upon impact, thus more likely to flex instead of breaking. Additionally, it is more likely to survive freezing without breaking if left full of water during below freezing winter temperatures. The water capture area of the gauge is translucent, so the water level within can be observed from the outside and compared against the purple scale on one side wall. It is not as clear as glass, so it takes a bit more effort to read the water level. I found the Water/Sprinkler Gauge to be effective at displaying the amount of water received in an area. I like to verify and adjust my sprinklers as needed; every few years under normal conditions or anytime I modify the sprinklers or receiving area. I found the listed price of $16.29 per gauge to be very expensive.

A little pricey but does the job
It's just a water gauge, so there's not a lot to get excited about, but it does the job well. Easy to use and the built-in stake goes into the ground well. It's nice that the material is silicone in case the water freezes, but I use this when I'm watering my lawn and I wouldn't be watering if it was cold enough to freeze. At almost $20 it seems a bit on the expensive side, but it does seem durable and I expect it to last a long time.
