WenVenWomen's Anorak Military Jacket Lightweight Casual Cotton Coat with Hood

I really love this jacket. Great for fall or early spring weather. The cotton material feels so much nicer than the usual polyester and the detachable hood is a nice feature. It does run small though...I had to exchange the medium for a large (I'm 5'4" and weigh 140 with a 38" chest and the medium was too tight in the chest and shoulders).

I recently bought this jacket to take on a trip to New England. The weather ranged from 38F - 80F. This jacket worked wonderfully!! I'm 5' 2", 170lbs. I bought a Large and it fit perfectly. I had enough room to wear a shirt and button up under it comfortably. It hit below my hips; just low enough to mostly cover my backside. The hood is detachable. It has 4 pockets on the outside, 2 of which have snaps, and 1 inside pocket. I was also able to cinch the waist when I wasn't wearing multiple layers underneath. It does have a thin satin-like liner. The sleeves were a bit long on me, but with one roll up and they hit just past my wrist. The cuffs do have snaps on them, but didn't feel tight in the least.One small issue I had, is that one of the snaps became detached from the material on the flap of one of the outside pockets. I kept the snap. I believe (hope) this is easily repairable with some fabric glue.

I honestly can't figure out how I feel about this coat. The quality is better than anticipated from Amazon. It is truly a "fall" jacket as it is durable but not insulated in any way. It's a nice length and is pretty movable. I'm 5'3", 140# with super small boobs, so take that how you may.I don't like the fit when it's un-cinched. It's awkwardly large in the back. It's just "eh" when it is cinched though. It's cute, but isn't calling my name.I probably wouldn't have picked this out at a store, but looking at pictures online gets me every time. I dont think it's worth 45 bucks, but we'll see if I end up returning it in time.It would be a great jacket for someone with bigger boobs and a smaller butt, i think.

The strings to adjust the waist fit are a little long, but with some creativity and a safety pin I was able to hide them. I ordered a Medium and I usually wear a small in shirts. I wanted something I could pull on over a sweater. This fit perfectly. I love it. It is actually a lot warmer than expected. A great coat, quality fabric, and packaged neatly.

This jacket is perfect for almost any time of year, except maybe the bitter cold days, unless you're wearing lots of layers underneath.I love the clean, casual military look of the jacket, without having a lot of metallic bits visible. It ends low enough to keep my backside warm/out of the wind. The hood is wonderful for breezy or drizzly days, but can be removed easily, leaving a stand collar to keep my neck warm.I highly recommend this jacket or one of the similar jackets by WenVen. They probably have a style to suit everyone

I’m 5’4 / full figured but in the process of weight loss from the end of summer meaning sizing is so hard when buying online but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money at a store for brand. This jacket is AMAZING quality and looks great on. I’m just under my 200lb mark & at 5’4 this jacket fits very well around my body but also some other people who have tried my jacket on!If you’re bustier or bigger up top size up! I’m not very chest gifted but some of my friends are and if they wanted to close the jacket it needed a little bit more.Also this jacket is super cute on and has a great adjustment string to since the waste for a great look.

I ordered several similar jackets in this style to compare. This was by far the best of the lighter weight ones for a somewhat tailored fit, a bit of warmth but still not too heavy and it’s overall look/feel. I will most likely be keeping this one. Fits pretty true to size, just a tad large I’d say.

I've literally bought 3 or 4 utility jackets trying to find one that 1. fits, 2. is comfortable, 3. has side pockets, and THIS IS IT. It's is SO soft and comfy and fits perfectly!! (I probably could have gone with an XS, if that was available, but S was the smallest in this style.) It's also really well made and doesn't look like something cheap that fell off the back of a truck. (Which is often the case with clothes on Amazon.) I don't want to take it off. THANK YOU!!

This jacket collects little balls of fluff like nobody’s business. Cute jacket but you will need to invest in a lot of lint rollers if you plan on wearing scarves or fluffy sweaters. Will be returning.

love I bought 2....green and black!! I'm 5'7", 170lbs..... I bought the large.

Ok. I dont know how one person got a crap load of lint on their coat, but that review I suspect is B.S. NO LINT or fluff on my coat when worn with a wool fluffy scarf the entire day. That person must have put the coat in the dryer with some crappy lint scarf. Ok, I digress. Here's a proper review.1. The fit - fits me just fine. I'm 5"2 and 145 lbs. the drawstring cinched perfectly, not too high nor too low. Hidden inside drawstring is a bonus. Sleeve length is perfect; hitting 3 inches past wrist.2. Fabric quality - soft cotton feel, very comfortable. The coat slides on smoothly. No lining, but as expected and described. Good for the beginning of Fall season or early Spring time. Not waterproof.3. Color of fabric - a deep red, a true red, not orangey. It is a beautiful shade of red. Does not bleed colour when washed.4. Price value - slightly over priced. I think a range between $45 to $65 would have been more appropriate, considering this has no insulation, really.5. Shoulder room - dont wear sweaters, your arms will feel tight. However, my arms are not thick, and I think that a basic long sleeve shirt is fine to be worn under the coat. I still have lots of room to move shoulders without feeling it's tight and restrictive.6. Pockets - awesome idea to have hidden side pockets, in addition to the large front pockets. Easy for my hands to slip into the side pockets.7. Length - adequate. Not too long or short. Covers my butt almost entirely, appropriate length for my height at 5"2. Proportion of coat is spot-on for a person my size.8. Would I buy again - Yes. I like the fabric, the colour, and the style. I'd buy the green colour too.

This jacket is very warm, quality material, great size hood, great colour, an overall perfect fall coat. Normally I wear a large, but I bought an XL to size up and it fits perfectly. I would order a size up in this jacket. This isn't consistent across the brand, though, as I also ordered an XL in the longer coat and that one was truly bigger. I also find it odd that the drawstrings for the waist are on the inside, but that's just personal preference. Overall, I would recommend this jacket and would certainly buy it again, but don't see myself needing to anytime soon, as it looks like it'll last a while!

Coat is just like you see in the picture. The arms seem very slim in the pictures and look tight fitting but are a little wider and a great fit. Perfect for fall and really nice material/quality. The coat has a string to make it tighter around the waist but INSIDE the jacket which is cool and one thing I wanted in this jacket but later discovered.
