I always save these when they come in shoe boxes, etc. Purchased to use in an antique piece when I discovered a bit of white mold on the inside of this piece. These work, no smell, they don’t absorb moisture. They just keep it in check. I also use these in shoes after wearing & with my linens.

These silica gel packets are the perfect size for small containers and easy to handle. They work great for keeping items dry in storage bins and food buckets. Each packet feels sturdy and well made. I do wish the bag they came in was resealable for easier storage once opened, but otherwise, this is an excellent value and works exactly as expected.

I bought these to put in my storage containers and my ammo storage boxes. They are the perfect size, and I wish I had used these earlier in my life. They are a great addition to preventing unnecessary moisture from ruining your ammo or any other valuable item you may have stored in a sealed container/bag. Would highly recommend this product.

I love these packets! I used to toss them years ago; as I’ve moved & traveled a lot; I find them invaluable. Now I throw away the cheap inadvertent broken / smelly ones etc. I’d gotten in / with items I’d bought. I purchased these - they are made / packaged well & they should last a while. I use them in tech & camera / bags, duffles, luggage, storage container etc. So easy to use. Simply put in the bag, tote, package, box etc. There is no scent. I’ve never seen them in other colors which is good - they are not a toy nor to be consumed so the white color is a heads up. I use these packets in / around “things”. There are more specialized ones that are food grade. So research, read carefully and / or contact the manufacturers directly, if that’s what you need. I plan to purchase these again for my “stuff”. Note: I have not recently flown or traveled internationally with these in my luggage or bags.
