**Q: Can this be used as a live monitor for another room?**
A: Yes, if you have it connected to a computer in that room and are running some kind of Home Surveylance software, I have used ContaCam for almost a year now and it will not only provide a web server that you can see the cameras live from anywhere but also has motion, sound and script triggered recording and loads of other features. Best of all its free (Donations accepted). I just got this camera AUSDOM AW615 Webcam 1920x1080P Full HD 12MP USB 3.0 Web Cam with Microphone for Online Video Calling and Recording, Computer PC Desktop Laptop Skype Newtork Camera and it works great right out of the box with A Dell Tablet, I did not even install the Realtec drivers at first and it was able to do 649x480 VGA @ 15~30FPS depending on the exposure setting I was using.

**Q: I just received my camera and it came with a mini cd, I have a slot load drive on my laptop and need to download the included software. Where is it?**
A: Without installing the drivers first I just plugged it in and Win8 recognized it as "FULL HD 1080p WEBCAM". Also, I compared the File sizes of the exe that came with my AW615 on the tiny CD (ya that wont fit in a toaster feed style CD drive ;-)  and the only available driver on AUSDOM's webacam download page for the AW920 looks like it might be the same. Unzip the file and open "(Your unzipped file location)webcam-windows-driver\webcam sàët¢ÿsåàs«¦\1080Psàët¢ÿn+êAW615920sà¦tö¿n+ë\AUSDOM 1080P camera driver.exe"

I started back to college taking online classes at night. I needed a webcam for group work sessions with classmates and didn't want to spend over $50 on a webcam, after spending hundreds on books and even more on tuition. I read something online about how to not look ugly on a webcam and I decided that at my age, I should invest in something that would be HD quality. I decided to take a chance on this little Ausodom device. I read the reviews and actually watched one from a tech guy that was pretty detailed and helpful; I then decided to get it. Not only was I pleasantly surprised about the price and fast shipping, but I was impressed with the quality of the picture and how easy it was to plug and play. The camera itself is great quality. It actually has this softening effect on the lens that diffuses the light on your face and doesn't give you that harsh look with shadows and strange dark spots. It truly is HD. It was so simple to just plug in a start using. The people on my team noted that the quality of my camera looked much better this week (compared to when I used an old 720 webcam) and they could hear me better. That had nothing to do with the amount of make-up I had either, it was just a better webcam that helped me have a better presentation. If you're wondering if you should take a chance and get it, I would. It's worth it. I've had it for a week and used it with Adobe Connect, Skype, and Google Hangouts. It adapted to all of those software applications just fine.
