Preheat and go!
Excellent quality. Is easy to take care of. And the cooking is easy to control. Let's see is there anything else? Nope that covers it.

A Simple Shift Towards Cleaner Cooking
I absolutely love my All-Clad D5 Brushed Stainless Steel Fry Pan. It’s been such a great switch for toxin-free cooking without the non-stick chemicals found in many conventional pans. There is a small learning curve, you need to heat the pan first until water droplets “dance” on the surface. Once it reaches that point, add your olive oil, swirl to coat, and then add your food. When used properly, it cooks beautifully and releases easily. Clean cooking, excellent performance, and surprisingly easy cleanup. A worthwhile investment for anyone serious about healthier cooking.

Beautiful Cooking Tool!!!
Great build!! Wonderful cooking tool. Follow the instructions that come with it for care/maintenance (don't cool it off suddenly when cleaning). No heat extremes required; pan cooks very evenly. [Use this stuff for cleaning: "Made In Cookware - Stainless Steel Cleaner" ... sold on Amazon.] :)

Quality performance and will last a lifetime
I was able to find this skillet sold as an "open-box" from a vendor at 50% off before the holidays. It arrived in a brown box. There is a very slight ripple appearance in the metal around one of the rivets which most would never even notice, but there was also a slight nick on the underside of the handle right where the forefinger would site, absorbing the weight of the skillet. It could definitely be felt by the finger like a slight rough edge. Luckily, I have a set of fine sanding paper and was able to sand out the nick and have it polished up so it could neither be felt or seen... in summary, skillet now like new. It is not my first D5 All-Clad piece. It is very sturdy with some heft to it, but not as much as a cast-iron skillet. It cooks great and cleans easily. One just has to know how to heat it properly when cooking... pre-heat, but not too hot. I'll have this 10" skillet for the rest of my life.

no lid but still great
Such a great stuff but without a lid. This is my second AllClad.

Not worth the cost
After using this pan for 4 months I wish I could return it. It’s not worth the price at all. I like the size of the pan, but the quality is much more inferior compared to my demeyere stainless steel pan. After a few months it definitely sticks even when heating it to the right temperature. At this point I can’t even cook an over easy egg without it sticking. I basically have stopped using it and use my demeyere pan exclusively even though it’s a larger size.

THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU WILL EVER MAKE
We have owned and used three of these frying pans (8, 10, and 12 inch) daily for the past year and I can say I only wish I knew such pans were available a long time ago....They fry magnificently on very low heat and you simply place the cooled pan in the sink and let it soak for five minutes or so in warm soapy water and simply wipe out with a dish cloth and rinse......No scrubbing whatsoever.....The pans cook well, they clean very easy and are safe for your food and most importantly, your health....Spend the money and buy the best for yourself....These are the best.......

All-Clad is the best cookware on planet Earth!
This is my 4th piece of All-Clad and I love love love it! The multiple layers of aluminum and stainless steel of the D5 provide excellent and even heat retention, which is more important for a frying pan than a pot that you might use for simmering liquids. There's a bit of a learning curve if you're coming from years of using inexpensive cookware like I was; important to learn how to heat the pan correctly (start on low heat, and there's never any need to go higher than about medium heat). This is cookware to last a lifetime and pass down to your kids.

quite easy to clean. Cooks uniformly on induction cooker top.

Best pan I have ever got for myself
Wanted to move away from Teflon coated pan for some time. However I was concerned about how difficult it will be to care for stainless steel pan. All clad pan is my first stainless steel pan, cooking with it just require basic understanding of cooking with it, careful with temperature. After 6 months, I am enjoying cooking with the two all clad pans.

Great frying pan
Holds the heat very well. Not a non stick this any pan like this is harder to clean. But it’s worth it.
