PetSafe Solvit Bicycle Basket for Dogs and Cats, Sport Style Light Nylon Material, Detachable Carrier with Shoulder Strap, Removable Sun Shield, White/Grey

Use this in our camper at night to stop the dogs joining us in bed at 2am. Very lightweight, pops up and ready to use in seconds. We just wedge it behind a seat to keep it in place. If they really wanted to, the dogs could push their way past it and it wouldn't stand up to scratching or chewing. But if your dog respects visual barriers then it works well. Been a great solution for us. Very pleased.

My dog loves been in it even got sun shade 😁. He’s safe and there is a clip to tie onto his harness. I do put towel inside it as it had a hard base which would be uncomfortable I’d think with out something soft in the base for home to site on. I have a chihuahua

Excellent product, design and concept. Really well put together and works really well and feels secure. Just be aware that it is for very small dogs only. My minituare dachshund was too big for it so had to be returned but a few inches longer and I would certainly of kept it.

Ace product, stops the pups getting in the front and can see in the back, not floppy like some other net barriers, love it !

Used for my car, stopped dog getting through to front seats

There was no hood and hard to contact seller the brackets very hard to put on bike but had already paid someone to put on bike and realised hood was missing and colour wrong

My sausage boy Jerry absolutely loves going out on the bike in his carry bag. Best purchase ever-we no longer have to leave him at home on our bike rides and it’s super secure.

天井までガードでき、簡単に設置できるバリアは中々ないので重宝しています。

I have been researching for over a month for a dog bike basket for my 11 pound Havanese. I originally ordered the Wald 957, but after a month of waiting Amazon canceled the order (no longer available). I was disappointed because I lost a good portion of the Michigan Summer. I was very pleased when the Solvit Silver Tagalong Deluxe Pet Bike basket arrived 6 days from ordering (free shipping)!! The basket was very easy to install. It took ten minutes at most. The basket is very sturdy if installed correctly. I wonder if the person that had an issue with it, properly installed the bottom bracket and safety straps. The basket would drop to the tire if these were not installed. The pockets and water bottle holder is perfect. Teddy loved the ride! He sat comfortably looking around smelling the air. The sides are a perfect height to make him feel secure and the tie down strap (to his harness) makes me feel secure that he will not jump out. I have not tried the sun shade yet, but it installs very easily and can store in the bottom of the basket. It is also nice that the bracket system allows you to easily remove the basket when not taking your dog. It also states that you can purchase an additional bracket for another bike and switch bikes. I am in the process of trying to find one. There is one issue with the mounting system and it related to my bike. There is a support bracket that sits against the front on the bike frame. My mountain bike has a front brake cable that runs down the front of the frame. I had to push the cable to the side which pushes the front brakes on a little. I plan to fix it by putting the cable through a hole in the support. It is not a big deal, but wanted to make people aware. With any front basket, it does take a little getting use to the extra weight on the front, but it is not bad. I was riding without issues within the first block. The basket does give good support for the dog and highly recommend. Will post pictures later.

La verdad el material es muy bueno, lo único es que es algo pequeña de espacio. Yo tengo una salchicha y cabe sentada pero no tiene mucha movilidad. Igual para lo que la uso que son distancias cortas está muy bien.

The PetSafe bicycle basket is very well made and fastens securely, with a well positioned support against the throat of the bicycle. My 15 pound miniature poodle sits safely and comfortably in the front while we ride along. I purchased a ‘slightly used’ PetSafe basket for 1/2 price and it arrived without any original packaging, but otherwise in perfect condition, with all the pieces included. We’ve gone on many bike rides and it is a great way to travel with my pet. I would have to caution tho if your pet is over 18 pounds the basket might be too small to safely ride. The sun screen is not really effective, and a bit flimsy, but sure looks cute!
