Hindsight!
This pump is very loud, easily twice as loud as the one it replaced. It is definitely a value, but you should only buy it if you like working on it often. It only takes about two weeks to bind up, but at least it’s serviceable so you can take it apart, clean it out, and do it all over again.

2nd one In 6 months that has stopped working.
I am currently on my second one. The first one stopped working altogether and would just keep running. I have had the new one about two months and just today it stopped working. A loud humming noise after flushing today and would only stop when unplugged. We have been very care to only throw toilet paper in there and be very careful with how much.

Lasted 3 months and quit
I bought this in October and it isn’t working at all now. Just makes a funny humming noise now. It won’t grind up toilet paper or push water through. I do not recommend this product at all.

Defective
Pump lasted 4 days, check valve didn’t seat fully causing sewage to backup into the shower.
