I think people are miss understanding one photo that appears to show interior mesh pockets. That is misleading but, to be fair, the description does not specifically identify interior pockets. One photo is showing is an internal mesh that I think is meant to keep the coat from clinging to the body. I would hesitate to see them closed as it will compromise the waterproofing, unless you know how to waterproof seams. However, I don't think these are intended to be interior pockets. Otherwise, this was exactly as described. It on the thin side but needed to be to be packable into the provided bag. I think it is perfect for travel understanding that it is a shell coat. The teal color is nice. Consider layering for warmth needs when selecting a size. The sleeve cuffs are rather poorly made, not stretchy and too big. I can fix that, but should not have to and would send it back if I couldn't.
