This product is the best curl defining product we have found. We cannot use product that have oil, as it doesn't soak into the hair. We have been using it for years, while trying different products in between even this brand's curl elixir, but we ALWAYS come back to this. It moisturizes the hair, defines the curls, and doesn't flake or turn white. We usually put it on in sections, just after lightly towel drying the hair. We air dry the hair, and the curls look great for at least a week or more, holding their shape from root to end, depending on whether or not they sweat too much or swim. The curls are beautiful and so defined, bouncy but shaped well. It has a great smell that isn't overwhelming.

When I first bought this product I thought it was way to thick and it left my hair feeling waxy, BUT, I figured out that it needs to be watered down. I use it on very wet hair and I dilute it in my hand by add a bit of water. My curls are beautiful. Also, I can bring them back to life by wetting down my hair and adding a diluted amount of product. It lasts a very long time using it this way.

Smells great, works good for a day! It works pretty good for curly definition on dry hair, but by the next day it beads up and forms those little beads on your shoulders and pillow. It's ok, for a one day hair experience.

I heard about this product in a Youtube video... I was influenced as the lady said that with this product she didnt need a gel...*this was not the case for me* because of the porosity and thickness of my hair I cant do wash a go's regardless.... but I was pleases with this curl definer... this made ny hair soft and shinny I used with the leave in as well.... loved my results as it helped elongating my twist wich I like because I normally have a lot of shrinkage. Update: I will keep buying this. I did a silk press on my hair and got tired of it on a week and wanted to mosturize my hair in some way before next week when I wash my hair.... I user a little water and this curl cream and my homenade hair butter...... I am impress ny hair reverted back to curly and is shinny and beautiful... thiiissss right here issss theeeee product

It’s cheaper at target

Purchased this for my son who has mixed curly hair and he really likes it. It smells wonderful (green apple) and doesn't make his hair feel gunky or stiff. Likes the natural curl look, puts it in when hair is very wet (curly girl method) in the shower, finger combs through and leaves in all week (yes it lasts all week, sometimes just needs a light refresh with water).

Smells amazing! It’s just like fresh apple. If you are a fan of the other TW curly curl cream, you will love this. It has the exact same thick consistency. Holds well but slightly sticky. I don’t mind that as it’s one of the few creams that gives me excellent curl definition. It’s free from all the usual nasties and perfect for 4c hair. It does weigh my hair down but that’s a bonus for me. It absorbed into the hair without too much residue and you can reapply the following day for more moisture without fear of it leaving white, flaky residue.

I absolutely love this product! It makes my natural curls stand out, it’s a bit heavy so i use a very small amount and it does wonders.

I was looking for a product with this exact consistency for twisting my hair so I like it. Just use with moderation or it'll build up and cause little clumps. Good to use an oil serum afterwards to keep it a little softer.
