I like the rubber pad option vs. the felt lining. Also, you can see it in the picture... I found it slightly slippery to remove the tray by grasping it with my thumb and two fingers. So I used some double stick tape and some spare rubber mat that I cut into little 1/4" x 4" strips and stuck them on each side of the divider where you "grap" it to pick it up. Works perfectly. This product is inexpensive and a great way to improve the armrest storage in the BMW X5. This product is what's great about globalization and desertcart... It came in a very timely manner and came in an easy to open box. At first glance the unit’s quality looks good. The rubber inserts look and fit well. I especially liked the little pull tabs for easy removal of the rubber inserts if necessary for cleaning. The tray fit perfectly in my 2023 X5 (G05) and I love it. It doubles the practical use of the space and allows me to tray smaller items like garage opener, pens and other items so I don’t have to go digging around to find them.
