Mighty Mouse Muncher. Too Subtle?
Bigger than I needed but did it's job quickly. Had the mouse caught within 24 hours. No bait needed. Slid it behind my trash can in the closet and emptied the little bugger outside the next day. Only issue I had was getting the lid off. It was a little annoying the get the lid to slide back but maybe there's an easy method I over-looked. Wouldn't be the first time. If I figure out the trick to getting it open easier I'll post it and add a fifth star. Hopefully though I won't need this again for a while.

Disappointed
I have always liked this style of trap and I did a lot of looking for 1 with out plastic on top. But this one the top is plastic and it is metal in the picture

Not humane! Kills mice! Gruesome.
This product is absolutely horrible. Although I initially had success catching several mice humanely, be warned, the mechanism can fail and essentially decapitate the mouse. On two occasions I had mice that did not make it far enough into the opening to be flipped around and when the mechanism was triggered, it flipped but since the mouse was still half outside of the trap, it was practically decapitated. In one instance, there was already one mouse caught and in the compartment, so it's spent the rest of the day stuck with half a body next to it. This is absolutely horrifying. Called the company who said although they were sorry, nowhere on the packaging does it say that this trap is humane. Totally dissatisfied with the product and the response from the company

Absolute must have!
I have about 15 of these. I have two in garage, 4 downstairs and I have classic cars in storage places with two in each. They are the greatest. Wind em up put a dab of peanut butter on trigger and forget about them. Every once in a while we will catch one downstairs and our dogs will let us know. Outside ones can catch 6-7 before you need to empty but a check periodically and empty if needed. If you say we don't have mice where we live you are wrong. Unless you live in a desert you have mice.

Mouse Mangler
The trap worked well and caught several mice. However, today I found a mouse caught by the neck. I tried to free it. It was terrible because it was squeaking with pain and I couldn't get it loose. It died before I could free it. I consider this trap to be very cruel. If I didn't care if the mouse died, I could have bought a bunch of the old fashioned ones for alot cheaper than I paid for this horrible product. I threw it in the garbage and felt bad all day about the mouse. I will never buy another item from this company. They have misrepresented this item as humane when it is certainly not. Please don't buy this item if you want to catch and release. It will mangle the mouse.

Mice hate this thing
The field mice actually ate a dinner plate size hole in the black insulation of the firewall of my truck. This made me mad so I bought the Ketch All trap. This is an old proven design. I placed it behind the garage and caught 6 mice the first evening. Altogether it caught 15 in the first week (it also caught 2 alligator lizards) This thing works so well I bought a second for the horse stable. Although it is considered a live trap if left in the sun it kills and dehydrates the mice in several hours. So if you are planning on releasing them you better check the trap frequently.

No Mice.....caught that is.
No mice caught since purchase and yes, it's set up correctly even baited with a couple pieces of dog food in the trap box. unfortunately I bought 6 of these thinking it would solve my problem of constantly resetting snap traps, but the snap traps work - these don't. Not much else to say other than that

A better mouse trap!
I caught 8 mice in my hen house the first day, then 5 the next. Now I'm down to one mouse every day or so. Those vermin were destroying my hen house, the got into the insulation and were destroying it with urine and feces. With this great trap on the job, I think the brunt of my problems with mice are over. Another nice thing is that it fits in well with the chickens. They don't bother it and it doesn't bother them. It's also easy to clean out.(mice poop collects overnight if one is trapped.)
