It helps control my appetite and I feel more alert. Unfortunately, it gives me acne flare up, but I'm genetically susceptible to this. Has anyone else had this reaction? Anything with high caffeine, or anything like caffeine, can cause this in some people. I was drawn to it because of all the natural plant sources. I'm giving it two stars since it wouldn't have that effect on everyone and seems like a good product.Also got a rash and not sure if it was just niacin flush or something more lasting. I got hives all over my back, chest, arms, neck, and face. It was still there after a few hours, so I took Benadryl and slept it off. It was gone in the morning, but I don't dare take any more of it. It could be one of the herbal ingredients; maybe I'm allergic to something in it.Oddly enough, No Doz caffeine pills don't seem to bother me in any way. My face doesn't break out; I don't get sick or have any rash; and my energy / mood is much better. I did give No Doz a long run last fall, and I didn't have trouble with it--used daily for two months. For my body, that's a better way to go, but everyone reacts differently to drugs and supplements. I lost about 8lbs. in less than 2 weeks (that in conjunction with running every other day). Like most weight loss pills, this product uses caffeine to curb your appetite. What I noticed also is that this product will raise your body temperature to the point where you easily perspire. It's no wonder the directions tell you to drink a lot of water when taking this product. This is typical side effects for a weight loss pill. The biggest complaint I have regarding this product is the moodswings it gives you. Taking Zantrex can either really make you feel depressed or not motivated in general. I can't explain it. But once my supply ran out, I stopped feeling so bummed out. Turns out that there are forums on the Internet that state the very same thing I just mentioned: moodswings and sudden lack of motivation. There are other alternatives but this is worth it in regards to bang for your buck. I just wouldn't get highly dependent on it because it does affect the way you perspire and also affects your mood. Heck, it might affect others differently but for me, this product made me feel miserable mentally and emotionally. What a price to pay to shave off a few pounds. I would recommend , only taking one pill at a time and hopefully only if you have a serious workout in the near future. These will make you edgy and or moody , be cautious if you are sensitive to this. This edginess is somewhat expected with these types of pills , so I don't consider this a negative, just something to be aware of if you are trying them for the first time. And not all people will experience the edginess , many will not I am sure, which is why I give these the 5 stars. I will say this though, these will not necessarily help you lose weight. They will give you an energy boost , however, regular and proper exercise and healthy lifestyle is a must. Also diet should be low sugar (sugar takes many forms :/ ) , low carb, high protien, with plenty of vegetables , raw sprouted whole grains, and lots and lots of water .
