Almost perfect
All in all this is a great "book" to have while on rounds, the only downsides are the extremely small letter and the red pages. The book is really small, it easily fits in a coat pocket, but I think it could be a little bit bigger so the letters wouldn't have to be minuscule and all the information wouldn't have to be cramped. The other thing, the red pages could be a bit lighter so the black letters would be easier to read.Other than that, it's awesome!

Keep in you White Coat
This is a great quick reference for rotations and residency. It is helpful for remembering normal lab values, apgar, important EKG changes, admitting orders, etc. It is just that added comfort of knowing you have back-up if your brain fails you for a second. Color coded for finding things quicklyPerfect size and lightweight for keeping it in the pocket of your white coat so it is always there when you need it.Even has some extra pages in the back for whatever other notes you feel are important to always have near-by.

great pocketbooke
I lost mine in my 2nd year of medicine residency and immediately bought a new copy. i use it for quick reference material and as a guide for my discharge dictations. i find the helpful equasions and the ekg intervals especially useful. i don't use the ACLS criteria out of the book - they are too short to be really useful. Also a good place to keep brief notes - i typically write equations in the book and keep other more extensive notes elsewear

Must buy
Every medical student should have this in their white coat, it gives a bunch of great info that you may eventually memorize but are too lazy to now that you can just pull out and look at instead of having a big book or computer to look stuff up on (stuff like dermatome maps, normal lab values, EKG angles, admit notes, etc). Also has several blank pages in the back you can write what you always forget.

Great little book
I am a medical student and this has been a nice pocket reference. It contains, reference lab data, hp, neuro exam info, acls protocol (which is outdated at this point), and a bonus feature it has an eye chart on the back along with a ruler. If your in the medical field or training to be in it, I'd recommend picking this up and throwing it into your white coat.

Good Little Book
I got this for the start of my third year on internal medicine. It came in quite handy when trying to remember what goes where on the lab schematic. Other things seemed like they will be useful, but I haven't needed or will need to use them.

Love it!
I can't imagine my white coat without this little book in it. It would be incomplete. I can't count the number of times I have used this book. I recommend it to everyone with a white coat.
