I have a floor standing pillar drill which needs a replacement motor, the existing motor is 0.5Kw 1400rpm, can I replace it with this 0.37 Kw ?

The 0.37kW motor is 370watt so this will be smaller than your motor. We do have listings for the next size motor which is 0.55kW 1400 rpm (550watt).
