The bike is well-built, easy to learn on, and offers a great balance of fun and safety for younger riders. One of the best features is the adjustable speed settings, which allowed us to start him at a slower speed while he learned to ride confidently. As his skills improved, we gradually increased the speed until he was comfortable riding on the highest setting, which reaches up to 20 mph. That feature alone makes this bike an excellent long-term investment because it grows with your child's abilities. We also purchased the matching helmet, which completed the setup and gave us extra peace of mind while he rides. The battery life has been excellent. We simply make sure it's charged before each ride, and it lasts a long time. It has never run out of power while my son has been riding, which makes outdoor play much more enjoyable without constant interruptions. I got one of these for each of my kids, ages 5, 7, and 8, for Christmas. They all love them. The 8 year old probably is close to the maximum size for these being worth buying, but she absolutely loves it. We considered a gas powered bike but decided to start them on these. Theres of course less power, but it’s very convenient not having to maintain or fix a gas engine or worry about whether or not they’ll start. As long as they charge for about 3 hours, they will run for about an hour, give or take, depending on how much accelerating and hill driving they’re doing. And they’re practically silent, which I and the neighbors appreciate. The only issue I have had is with some of the plastic trim pieces cracking, so just be careful where you grab when you lift/carry this thing.

I have waited 3 months to write this review due to the nature of the product. My 8 year old son rides this every single day for at least an hour. He is so in love with this electric dirt bike. We got this for his birthday and it is the best money I have ever spent. Setup: there is none. Product comes fully assembled, just charge it up First use: EAAAAAASSSSY on the throttle! Hold your kids hand as you hover over them and slowly turn the throttle so that they feel what they’re getting into. My dude sat on the bike and ZOOOOOM (scared all of us for a sec, then he was incensed)! I wish I had better prepared him. The speeds listed on the product page are truly the speed that the bike travels. The light is extremely bright, actually illuminating a path in the dark. The horn is loud enough to be heard from inside the house. He has not fallen from this bike even one time. He falls from his pedaled bike as much as any other kid. We started on low speed, immediately switched to mid and within 2 days he was riding on high speed with ease. He wears a Razor brand motorcycle helmet. No previous experience with e-bikes or dirt bikes. He gets at least an hour and a half of use out of it at a time riding at top speed and rarely stopping. I am so impressed with the battery life. We had to replace the back tire because my son was braking too hard which caused the rubber to wear over time. I easily found the assembled replacement for $40 on their Hiboy website and switched it out with ease! Last year, he asked for a go kart for Christmas and the price was very close to the price of this bike. That karts battery wore down within a month and just collects dust now. This is the reason that I have waited to review this product. If the go kart is yin, this dirt bike is yang. He has made new friends in the neighborhood just being outside so much over the summer months when it would have been too hot to pedal his manual bike around the block. If you’re comparing several e-bikes and ruminating on reviews, this is your sign to go for it!

⭐️ Would not recommend — not worth the money. I’ve had numerous issues with my Hiboy electric bike within the first year. Customer service sent multiple replacement parts and had me troubleshoot repeatedly, but the issues were never resolved. They eventually offered to replace the bike, but I still had to pay the shipping cost for the replacement. For a bike that is still under warranty and has had ongoing issues despite multiple repair attempts, I don’t feel I should have had to pay anything extra. Very disappointed with the product and the way the warranty issue was handled. Would not recommend — not worth the money.

I was hesitant to buy this for my son’s 7th birthday based on some of the reviews but went ahead and rolled the dice. Cutting to the chase it’s a pretty fun toy for a kid who is not quite ready for some of the larger faster ebikes. I was worried about it being to small for him, and it is a bit on the small side but not to where he cant ride it comfortably. My 9 year old rides it too. It wont be long before they outgrow it size wise. No issues out of the box and easy to put together. So far the battery lasts for a few hours and no issues charging. Looks cool and the light is neat for night - crazy bright. On top speed setting it zips along nicely. On the downside - We’ve only had it for a few weeks and the back tire is going bald. I took one star away for this because my kid rides on the road and goes all out then hits the breaks and skids, which looks super fun but also as torn out the tire. Like i said hes only had a few weeks and I’m already going to need to shop for replacement tires. The hiboy site is currently out of stock so hopefully I can find some Suitable replacements soon.
