DONT BUY!! Microsoft ruined this computer.
Wish I could leave zero stars- DO NOT BUY!!!!!! Impossible to setup.. Microsoft has ruined this computer forcing you to log into their BS.. im pretty tech smart but unless you have days to figure this trash operating system dont buy. I have always been a pc guy.. returning tomorrow and im now full on apple bc of Microsofts monopoly style forcing you into their crap. Done with MS.

So far I am not dissapointed
I am going to state up-front that I am biased for ThinkPads. I have had a number of them over the years and they appear to be solid machines. This one is, so far, no exception. I'm not such a fan of Windows 11, Window 10, Windows 7 and Windows XP were all better in my opinion, easier to navigate. I had my previous laptop, an HP, for almost 10 years and finally decided to upgrade since all it could run was Windows 10 and I was not getting much in the way of updates. Plus, it only had 8 gigs of memory and 4 CPUs. There was some software I was running on it that, if I updated it, the update would take over 1.5 hours. My new system has 16 CPUs, 64gigs of memory and 2TB of storage. Installing that same software took about 20 minutes. I also use the system during Webinars, I log into the Webinar as a participant to get a better perspective of what my attendees are seeing. My old laptop would take about 5 minutes to connect. My new one takes just a few seconds. So far - I am very pleased with this purchase. The performance has been what I was expecting, it was easy to setup (I took advantage of oneDrive. With respect to connectivity, I primarily use a WIRED connection but I have used the WIFI and it does support both 2.5 and 5 ghz.. I think it was well worth the money. But with any tech puchase, time will tell. though, the track pad has a bit of a strange feel when pressed but it's mouse movement it good and it does have the eraser head which I have always liked.
