We finally found you!!!
Although I will come out and say the price is pretty high (I have actually seen this go on sale for $9.99 in my local grocery store), it isn't the highest price tag I have seen on this product. I do like the subscription option because my kid can go through this can in a week and having a regular delivery of this really helps. My boy was exclusively breastfed for 6 months until we introduced solids then he continued breastfeeding. At the year mark, I was ready for freedom so we tested out about 6 different formulas, half of them he just disliked the taste and no matter how many times we tried he just spat it out (on some i really dont blame him). Half gave him the poops or extreme gassiness. We tried this one, the first time he tasted it he gulped down 8oz no problem and had no weird side effects on his digestion. And it was heaven sent! I was finally able to wean him off of me and he actually gained a bit of weight after he started this formula since I wasnt keeping up with his demand with my breast milk anymore. I also love that this is a toddler formula and specially for toddlers since I does have different nutritional content and vitamins than an infant formula. Having iron in the formula for the toddler stage is essential and this formula has it, not many do.

Buy it if you want a Happier, healthier, and much better smelling baby!
My daughter is 8 weeks old today as I’m writing this review. I started her on Kabrita goats milk formula 5 days ago. It should be noted that I only use it as a supplement to breastfeeding, so it is not her only source of nutrition. She eats around 12 oz of formula a day on average. The doctor had recommended Enfamil Gentalease as a supplement when she was 5 weeks old due to slow weight gain. I was not a fan of the ingredients and was really conflicted about feeding her formula at all but obviously I didn’t want her to be starving either. She did fine for the first few days on Enfamil and was very happy and gaining weight like a champ. However, each day her tummy troubles seemed to get worse and worse. She had terrible gas that smelled horrendous. Her skin was breaking out and she began getting wheezy and stopped up. Her poops we like sludge, smelled awful, and she seemed uncomfortable all the time. She also started spitting up all the time so she always smelled like formula, which was not a pleasant smell at all. I did some research and decided to try Kabrita even though it’s marketed as a toddler formula. The website does explain that it is formulated for infants just hasn’t been officially cleared by the fda. I also compared the nutrition facts to the Enfamil and they were very close. The most notable difference was that Kabrita has slightly less fat. I decided to just switch her cold turkey instead of gradually since I also breastfeed. It should be noted that Kabrita recommends a gradual transition. I also give her Gut pro infant probiotics in addition to the formula. I am so glad and thankful that I made this switch. I have seen nothing but improvement with my baby girl in just 5 short days. She loves the taste and drank it with no problems from the beginning. (She isn’t very picky though!) The first thing I noticed was that this formula does not smell or look like the Normal cows milk brands. It’s smooth, easy to mix, not greasy, and has little to no scent at all. The following improvements are what I have observed in just 5 days on Kabrita: 1. the foul smelling gas is gone. She still has some gas but it’s more like it was when she was exclusively breastfeeding and doesn’t smell at all. 2. No more peanut butter sludge poops. Her poop is back to the seedy mustard color poop like it was with just breast milk. She is still only pooping 1 to 2 times a day but she doesn’t seem uncomfortable. 3. Her dry flakey scalp cleared completely 4. Her eyes aren’t as goopy and watery (she does have blocked tear ducts) 5. She is not wheezing and stopped up like she was (this could be a coincidence as pollen season is coming to a close in our area) 6. Her face is clearing up. Baby acne had gotten pretty bad after starting formula. 7. She is now sleeping 5-6 hour stretches at night (this could be a coincidence as well as it’s pretty typical by 8 weeks for longer night sleep) 8. She got a little fussier for the first few days but now is happier than ever. I have to think her little system was almost detoxing from the other formula. I don’t think Kabrita gave her the same fullness as Enfamil. Corn syrup of course sits very heavy and she got used to that feeling. Now she seems to have adjusted and is very content after a bottle. 9. She is not spitting up constantly. Maybe just once or twice a day now instead of once or twice a feeding. 10. My baby smells like a baby again instead of like spoiled milk, chemicals, and foul gas. So in conclusion, I’m a believer! I will definitely continue feeding my daughter Kabrita. It is a bit more expensive but since I only supplement, it’s not outrageous at all and is worth every penny to have a happy healthy baby. Amazon seems to have the best price available. However, you can get a free ($8.99 shipping cost only)14 oz sample can from the Kabrita website. This is a great way to give it a shot without having to spend a ton! I’m not a dr or medical professional, so all of my claims are based merely on my observations of my own child. I did not consult her pediatrician before switching but if you have concerns or fears, you should definitely ask the dr. Just beware that most medical professionals will tell you that all of the things I saw with formula are normal and not to be concerned. It has been my experience that most drs are not very well versed in nutrition and gut health. That being said, I will always follow what my pediatrician says first when it comes to my child’s overall health. Mine had just told me that he didn’t care what I fed her as long as she was gaining weight and developing like she should! I don’t typically write reviews and especially ones this long and detailed so the fact that I felt so strongly about sharing my experience is proof of how pleased I am with this formula. I am a real person and I didn’t receive any incentives to write this review. I am just simply a new mom who was made a believer by my experiences with Kabrita. I will update my review after a month if anything else improves or we see any changes.

Saved us!
I don’t normally post reviews, but this formula has been a life saver for us! With baby #5 I tried to nurse and he just couldn’t get it, so I pumped for 4 months, but with the stress of it all, lost my milk. It was devastating for me. We started trying different formulas and it just added to the nightmare. Over a 3 month period we tried over 15 formulas. Pretty much every single option you can find, even nutramigen AND alimentum. He was severely gassy, constipated, had horrible projectile vomiting, didn’t sleep etc. on top of that the soy options caused rashes all around his mouth. I had been desperately searching the internet for something to help my baby when I came across Kabrita. I was hesitant because it says it’s for toddlers and my baby was 7 months. Also, the fact that he would still be getting lactose and milk protein, which had been a huge part of our problem. After reading reviews I decided to give it a try. Baby is 9 1/2 months now and is a different baby! He is happy, no more spit up or constipation, he sleeps etc. if you are dealing with any of these issues, it’s def worth a try!

Perfect option when nothing else worked
Disclaimer: clear with your child's pediatrician if using before 12mo. Nothing worked well for my son. He was 5 weeks premature and wouldn't breastfeed. Regular formulas made him constipated. Gentle and sensitive formulas worked for a while before he started projectile vomiting. We were given hypoallergenic formulas to try which only made the vomiting worse. He was diagnosed with GERD at 8 weeks old. He was given a prescription for an acid reducer and we decided to give goat milk formula a try. Eureka! The acid reducer allowed his stomach to strengthen and heal, the goat milk formula kept his symptoms at bay once out of the prescription. No more constipation, hardly ever spits up, and just seemed happier after starting Kabrita at 11 weeks. He's now almost 6mo old and growing like a weed. So thankful to have this product in the States finally. It's a little bit more expensive than regular formulas, but significantly cheaper than hypoallergenic or elemental formula.

Helped with constipation due to dairy sensitivity
I'm so grateful for this formula! We transitioned baby to whole cow milk when she turned one (she was only on infant formula for about a month, breastfed before then), and immediately she became constipated (rabbit pellets, screaming and crying when trying to have a BM, etc). I was fast-acting with remedies (I have a 3-year-old with dairy sensitivity so have learned the VERY hard way how to deal with this), but as anyone with kids with dairy sensitivities knows, more fiber/prune juice/etc doesn't cut it. I had to give her a stool softener daily in order to consume cow milk without problems and wasn't comfortable with that as a long-term solution. Enter Kabrita. I've already done loads of research on plant-based "milks" (see above re: 3 y.o.), but given that this little one is still a baby felt she needed more healthy fat and protein in her cow-milk alternative. Additional loads of research later, landed on Kabrita. We're just one 28 oz tin into this experiment and it's going GREAT. Constipation resolved and she seems happy enough with it. We've had to do some experimenting with it (I was making it ahead of time and refrigerating it so it would be cold, but oddly she doesn't like it cold, prefers it room temp), but overall finding it to be a *wonderful* alternative. A final note: I initially considered goat milk (NOT goat milk formula) instead of cow milk, but decided the adjusted casein:whey ratio of Kabrita's goat milk formula to be important for improved digestibility. I didn't buy through Amazon but wanted to leave this review here in case it can be helpful for others; I know I always appreciate thoughtful parent reviews when it comes to my kids' health, so hopefully this review can help someone else who might be struggling with similar issues.
