Purchased this earlier in the year after the RAC failed to find me when a battery ran down on our motorhome, saw a cheap Halfords one jump start the van, researched & decided on the hulkman, needed it today, 24/12/24, van battery wouldn’t fully turn the engine, out with the hulkman, 99%, started a 2.2 diesel first time, 90% left. I’d say that’s a good result. Happy with my purchase now having had the opportunity to use it.

I purchased this product several months ago. I’ve side it a couple of times to start my car due to a low battery. It helped to start the car on both occasions. Just checked it again yesterday (Jan 02 2015) and it still has 100% charge. Amazing! It also has lights and two types of USB sockets if your mobile needs a top up. (Nite-you have to use your own leads!)

I bought the HULKMAN Alpha65 Smart Jump Starter to keep in the car for emergencies. After having it stored for a while, I recently needed to use it to jump start my car. Although it was fully charged and showed that it was ready to use, it simply didn’t work. It made no difference to the battery at all and wouldn’t start the car. I ended up calling the AA, and even the patrol tried using it without success. In the end it was completely useless in the situation I bought it for. Sadly, it’s been a waste of money and I can’t recommend it.

In genere non lascio molte recensioni su amazon, ma quando un prodotto merita, lo faccio. Questo è un ottimo avviatore d'emergenza, mi ha salvato già 4 volte, mantiene la carica per molto tempo, infatti quando l'ho utilizzato la prima volta erano passati mesi dall'ultima volta che l'ho caricato e quando mi è servito era sempre al 100% . La qualità dei materiali è ottima, si vede fin da subito che non si tratta della classica cinesata da 4 soldi, l'azienda è americana anche se il prodotto è stato fabbricato in Cina (come quasi tutto del resto) ; il consiglio che posso darvi: se siete alla ricerca di un avviatore di emergenza, prendete questo. Troverete sicuramente qualcosa di più economico ma ricordatevi che questi prodotti sono delle power bank, e sinceramente non mi fiderei di lasciare una cosa economica, fissa in auto. Prima di fare questo acquisto avrò letto tremila recensioni, non ho acquistato il primo che mi è capitato sotto agli occhi, quindi se ho scelto questo avviatore di emergenza, è perché è il migliore a livello di qualità/prezzo. Ps. Ho usato il prodotto su una fiat 500x 1.4 t-jet 120 cv gpl, la batteria era una 60ah con 540 di spunto. Aggiorno la recensione perché veramente è un prodotto che merita: in questi mesi ho utilizzato questo avviatore d'emergenza anche su altre auto con batterie molto più grandi e sono sempre partite al primo colpo. Addirittura ha funzionato dove ha fallito un avviatore da migliaia di euro di un elettrauto quando si è trattato di far ripartire l'auto di un mio collega.

Acheté au cas où, ma batterie ayant 4 ans, 6 mois plus tard, en sortant du supermarché, des courses plein le coffre et impossible de démarrer ! Booster branché en 30 secondes, voiture démarrée au premier coup ! Rangé sous le siège à l'année et vérification du niveau de recharge une fois par an : le niveau reste au dessus de 80% de charge ! Super produit.

The best thing if you are fiddling with cars on your weekends and need a reliable and an easy to use kick-starter. I have been using it on 4 and 6-cyl petrol engines only so far, but I am sure it will work with diesels just as well.
