I realize this book was actually written for men...but it is an awesome book for women to read also... especially if you are raising a son! I actually read this book when my sons were young boys, then I had them read it when they were young men. It helps you understand how and why God created men with the personality traits they are born with. It helps a man find acceptance to many things he struggles with inside of himself. As a mother, it can help you raise and encourage your son to be all that God created him to be and NOT conform to what society teaches. This is a great book to give God the glory for knowing exactly what He was doing when He created men!!! I have given several copies away to friends and family and still my copy is loaned out more than it sits on my book shelf!!

I enjoyed Wild at Heart and used it to teach a small men's class. It literally was a God-send for us as we began to understand God's purpose for us as men. Things we felt and experienced was put into us by our Creator! This book put everything together for us to help us understand our role. Great read!!

Great book. I'm still working through it but it's helping me to make some much needed changes.

Our small Men's Group uses this video series to initiate conversation about the book Wild at Heart which we are reading in parallel. I find that our discussion is much longer than it was when we didn't have the video. In fact, that is my only negative point, we don't have enough time to go through every question or point to ponder (and this is with only 4 men).

This is a great companion to the video series. It helps the reader of the book and viewer of the videos to go deeper. A great resource for introspection.

THis was for my husbands Bible study and do to lack of funding we were unable to purchase the set from the main distributor and My husband is very happy with the set.

This is an invaluable companion to the excellent Wild at Heart book and field manual. Full of penetrating insights into the male soul and practical wisdom. What we have come to expect from John Eldredge.
