Baseus Picogo Power Bank, 0.3" Ultra Slim 5000mAh MagSafe Portable Charger, Card-Size Magnetic Battery Pack with USB-C Braided Cable, Alloy Wireless Charger for iPhone 17 Pro Max/17 Air/16/15/14/13/12

I have used several power banks ranging in charge capacities from 5200mAh, 10000mAh to 20000mAh from brands like Anker, Ravpower, iXCC, and MI, so I have a fairly good idea on how these perform. Now I have been using the Baseus 10000mAh power bank with iPhone 12 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max on a daily basis for well over 2 weeks now, so I can provide some initial hands-on impressions about it’s packaging, materials & finish, handling, mag-safe capability with iPhones, day to day input and output charging capacity & durations, etc. --------------------------------- Packaging and Build Quality --------------------------------- The product came nicely packaged in a soft cardboard type of retail box with the actual battery pack, an accompanying USB-A to USB-C cable and warranty card & instructions in a plastic insert to hold the items together. The overall build quality is pretty good being constructed of solid ABS plastic with a Matte-black finish which emphasizes a premium look & feel, but at the same time it is prone to fingerprints and starts to look dirty very soon. It feels dense in your hands and there’s some slight heft to it. The LED screen is a nice touch for easier remaining battery percentage readout and displays a green-colored “fast-charge” indicator when engaged both in wired or wireless charging mode. Also, the notch on this iteration has been adjusted to leave enough room to easily accommodate phones with larger lenses. ------------------ Wired Charging ------------------ (1) Charging other devices via USB: My preferred method of charging other devices using this power bank is the USB-C wired charging. Hands down the fastest way to charge your devices via USB-C using PD protocol. I was able to individually charge both my iPhone 12 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max from 20% to 80% in under 40 minutes and that’s twice as fast as the Mag-safe option. (Keep in mind, once past 80%, iPhones automatically slow down charging speed to minimize wear & tear on internal battery.) On an average, with my regular schedule of 20% to 80% on both my Pro Max iPhones, I was able to top them up 2 times on a single charge. That’s basically an entire day’s worth of use (and more) for both my wife and I when we’re out and about. Now we don’t have any fear of running out of battery while capturing photos and videos out exploring. (2) Charging the power bank via USB: Usually, charging the power banks takes a long time. My other power banks charge via USB-A or Micro-USB and take anywhere from 6 to 8 hours, but this device can be charged via USB-C using a fast-charge capable Power Adapter (like a MacBook Pro charging brick) in roughly 3 hours. This is great news as I don’t have to wait several hours before this power bank is ready for its next excursion and don’t have to carry any additional cables or adapters. USB-C rocks! Best part is you can charge both your Power-bank and your device at the same time as it offers USB pass through making it more versatile than others. -------------------------------- Mag-safe Wireless Charging -------------------------------- The Mag-safe charging and stronger magnets seem to work as advertised. I used this with both iPhone 12 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max with third-party mag-safe cases and they both charged wirelessly at 7.5W. Using it via mag-safe will make the back of your phone minimally warm to touch as to be expected. Just wish all third-party manufacturers had access to Apple’s 15W wireless charging protocol, then this device could have been a full 15W wireless charger too. Overall, it took me roughly 90 minutes to charge either of the 12/13 Pro Max phones from 20% to 80% repeatedly. Note that you do have to manually press the Power button on the side to start Mag-safe charging. Overall, in my opinion, even though mag-safe offers the convenience of wireless charging, I much prefer the wired usb charging due to its reliable fast-charge option and lack of risk of displacement when carrying during travel, however, when left idle on flat surfaces it works fine. -------------------------- Areas of Improvement -------------------------- (1) Just wish the Power bank automatically recognized when a Mag-safe compatible phone or device is placed on the magnets to start Mag-safe wireless charging without the need to manually press the Power button. (2) The plastic insert holding the battery pack as packaging could be replaced with a strong cardboard type material, easier on the hands while unboxing and better for the environment also. (3) To protect the battery pack from normal wear and tear during travel & storage, it should come with a durable Pouch at the very least. Perhaps, this is a missed opportunity in my opinion. (4) Since most devices are USB-C these days, it should have included a USB-C to USB-C cable as well for future proofing. (5) It would have been nice to have a Kick-stand at the back to allow users to consume media while charging at the same time. Over the years, since the technology has improved significantly - various tangible benefits are being offered in these portable devices that weren’t previously available. Now you can travel light for an outdoor hike or explore the city knowing you can charge your devices quickly & conveniently. Based on my relatively short, albeit practical, hands-on experience I can easily recommend this Power bank to everyone.

Honestly I’m kinda impressed with this little charger. I just got it today and tried it on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, and the first thing I noticed is how thin and light it is. Like, it doesn’t feel like I’m carrying around a brick on the back of my phone, which is exactly what I wanted. The color looks really clean in person too, and the build quality feels solid. Doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. I also like that it stayed cool while charging, because I’ve had other portable chargers get weirdly warm and I hate that. Charging speed isn’t insanely fast or anything, but honestly I don’t really care. For me, portability matters way more. I wanted something I can keep in my pocket or bag and use when my phone is dying, and this does that perfectly. Super thin, easy to carry, looks good, and does the job. 5 stars from me 👍

After using it for a while, this battery bank has quickly taken its place as the only one I need for an every day carry. It's extraordinarily compact, and I barely notice it on my phone, and it slips into any pocket in any bag or backpack I have. I've seen complaints here about battery life, but I don't understand that. First, I'm not sure what you expect from something this thin. This isn't designed to fully charge your phone, it's for getting you that extra charge you need until you get home. It does that perfectly. I can carry this and a super compact USB C cable, and I'm able to charge anything in addition to my phone. I saw someone else say that it charges slowly. I'm fine with that. It means the battery will last longer. I don't need this to charge fast. Again, this is designed for the time of day when you need some extra battery on your phone before you get home. Then when you go to bed, you charge your phone AND the battery bank. This charges fine overnight. If I had any complaints about this battery, it's that it's very slippery. I have to take off my pop socket in order to use this, and I go from a very secure hold to a very slippery one. It feels very nice, it's just very slippery. But I don't mind it too much, and it's not enough to subtract a star.

The only thing this power bank charged was my frustration.I’ll give credit where it’s due it’s impressively thin, lightweight, and the price is attractive. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.This power bank became alarmingly hot during use, to the point that it was uncomfortable to touch when removing it from my phone. Even worse, the charging performance was incredibly disappointing. It couldn’t even add 30% to my phone’s battery before it ran out of power.A portable charger should inspire confidence, not make you wonder if it’s overheating. The sleek design can’t make up for poor battery capacity and excessive heat.There are much better options available. Save yourself the frustration and keep looking until Baseus addresses these serious issues.

It’s small and easy to carry. It charges efficiently enough but gets very hot.

Excellent addition to my set of tools for recording long videos (2 to 3 hours each), in fact indispensable when you don’t have a wall charger close by. I’m very happy with the quality of the item and, in fact, amazed at the support from the vendor and from Amazon. My high level of satisfaction is derived from the amazing kind of support I got when I first purchased the item. It all goes to show there are some vendors in Amazon that are very invested in the quality of the products they sell and in providing top notch customer service and support. When I first got this wireless charger, I charged it fully before using it for the first time. However, when I placed it in the back of my phone expecting it to begin charging wirelessly, it did not. I could see the charger had 4 lights on, indicating a full charge. I looked to see if there was some sort of power button, but I didn’t see any. The charger however had no problem charging through the usb-c port. I contacted Amazon to request they put me in contact with the vendor and they did so immediately through the Amazon Customer Support site. It turned out that there was indeed a little power button on the side that I missed because it was so well hidden. I imagine the reason for this design is to prevent shutting off the charger inadvertently. Well, as soon as I pressed the button the wireless charging began immediately. What impressed me was that the vendor gave me a full refund for the problems I encountered, which somehow they took responsibility for. This is clearly “above and beyond“. So I kept my cake and ate it too. BASEUS, I will be purchasing a lot more things from you. Thank you.

Pros: Ultra-Slim & Portable Design...The power bank is incredibly thin (0.3") and roughly the size of a credit card. It fits easily into a pocket, wallet, or small bag. The magnetic design also allows it to attach neatly to MagSafe-compatible iPhones without extra adapters. Convenient Magnetic Attachment...The MagSafe magnetic connection is strong enough to hold the power bank in place while charging your iPhone. It’s convenient for using the phone while it’s charging, and it eliminates the need for cables in many situations. USB-C Braided Cable Included...The included USB-C braided cable feels durable and makes it easy to charge both the power bank and other devices. Wireless Charging Option...For quick top-ups, the wireless charging works fine. It’s handy if you want to avoid plugging in a cable, especially for a fast emergency boost. Cons: Generates Noticeable Heat...One of the biggest drawbacks is how hot the power bank gets during use. While not dangerously hot, it becomes uncomfortable to hold for extended periods and can make your phone warm as well. Using it on your lap or holding it while charging is noticeably unpleasant. Limited Battery Capacity...With only 5000mAh, this power bank is enough for a 60% increase to my iPhone 16 pro max. For heavy users or travelers, it may not be sufficient, meaning you often need to recharge the power bank itself. Slower Charging on Some Devices...While it works fine with iPhones, charging speed is slower than some larger, higher-capacity MagSafe power banks. The thin design and small battery size clearly limit power output. Price vs. Functionality...Considering the limited capacity and heat, the price feels slightly high for what you get. It’s excellent for portability, but not ideal if you need multiple charges or faster output. No Fast-Charge Option Beyond 5W Wireless...While the wireless MagSafe charging is convenient, it’s limited to standard speeds. If you’re looking for fast wireless charging, this won’t compete with more powerful chargers. This power bank excels in portability, sleek design, and MagSafe convenience. However, its limited battery capacity, slower charging speeds, and heat issues hold it back from being a must-have. It’s a solid choice for light, everyday use or emergency top-ups, but not ideal for heavy phone users or long travel days.

A lifesaver when phone drains down and you cant wait. Snap this on and go. You hardly notice its there and it seems to stay put so far under normal use. Has enough charge to get you to the next charger unless you live in the Arctic. Never failed me but I only use it once in a while.

Pas impressionné par cette batterie, j'ai branché sur mon MacBook air M1, il chargeait mais la batterie externe se déchargeait plus rapidement que ce qu'elle chargeait. Donc pas suffisante pour un MacBook malgré ce qu'ils annoncent

Je l'ai pris pour sa taille vraiment réduite, je suis satisfait. 2 entrées possibles pour charger la batterie, 3 sorties possibles pour charger les appareils. Je n'ai pas testé la puissance de sortie pleine capacité, mais pour un téléphone qui se charge en 18W ça charge en charge rapide. Cable USB-C de sortie intégré, affichage pratique

Die Baseus PicoGo Powerbank mit 10.000 mAh und 45 W hat mich absolut überzeugt. Besonders praktisch finde ich das integrierte USB-C-Kabel – kein lästiges Suchen nach einem Ladekabel mehr, einfach anschließen und laden. Mit bis zu 45 W Leistung werden Smartphones, Tablets und sogar kompatible Notebooks erstaunlich schnell geladen. Trotz der vergleichsweise hohen Leistung ist die Powerbank sehr kompakt gehalten und angenehm leicht. Sie passt problemlos in Jackentaschen oder Hosentaschen. Bei mir reicht eine Ladung ca. für 2 1/2 Smartphone-Ladungen aus. Das gibt mir auf längeren Reisen ein beruhigendes Gefühl. Dank mehrerer Anschlüsse können mehrere Geräte gleichzeitg geladen werden. Verarbeitung wirkt auch hochwertig und robust. Für mich eine der besten Powerbanks in dieser Größe und Preisklasse. Empfehlung geht raus!

Känns liten i handen och smidig att ta med sig. Jag föredrar MagSafe powerbanks egentligen men just denna är briljant för den laddas otroligt snabbt. Det är lika viktigt som hur snabbt den kan ladda apparater som hur lång tid det tar att fylla på batteriet igen. Tyckte det var jobbigt när det tog flera timmar att ladda ett 5000mah batteri.
