Clean, easy, controllable application of grease
If you do your own maintenance of any small to medium-sized machines (and I'd include everything from chainsaws to bicycle components in that class), this is a very handy tool to have in your kit. It hooks up to a standard tube of grease fairly easily (mating plastic and metal threads is always a bit dicey), and then puts out a very controllable fine line of grease with one hand. It makes it much easier to grease small bearings, and it works quite nicely to add grease to the needle bearings in your chainsaw clutch. Clean, easy, and effective. That's all I ever want from a tool, and I'm only wondering why it took me so long to get this one.

Premium grease
I really like this combo of grease and dispenser. The grease is a high quality product and the unit to disperse the product is easy to use and super easy to control the amount of grease in the exact location you want. I like that you can just screw a new tube on and get back to work in no time.

Tube of grease doesn't fit gun
Gun does work and the grease that comes with it is also good, sadly I had to use some other grease (I like more) with the gun. I thought it was funny that Finish Line has this product pairing available when they don't fit each other.

Gets grease into tight spaces
While I personally use this to inject specifically teflon-based grease in the bearings of bicycles, a grease-gun has many uses around the house. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease", as the saying goes, but trouble is that it's often very, very difficult to get the grease to where it needs to go. The grease-flow holes of door hinges are tiny and you can't really get any lasting lubricant into them without a grease-gun. Most folks spray in some WD40 because is usually has that long, plastic nozzle, but of course WD40 only a water displacer, not a real, durable lube that will last more than a day or so.

Ready to go
Needed a basic bicycle grease gun and this did the job. Used it a good deal on bb's, hubs, etc. once you get the tube feeding well, it works great. Appreciate the tube of grease it comes with. It goes a long way. Definitely recommend.

Good Grease, Junk Gun
Finish line is great grease. The applicator/gun is complete junk. Doesn't thread onto the tube and doesn't pressurize the grease. Literally a two handed operation to squeeze the tube and operate the plunger. Stupid and dumb, as well as poorly engineered and frustrating. Also stupid. And dumb.

thumbs up
Didn't realize I needed one of these. Been doing without for over 40 years. It does take up a little more space in the tool drawer than just a tube of grease but it makes up for that in convenience. I keep a rubber slip on cover on the tip to prevent contaminants from sticking to it. I've only used it for finishline grease so I don't know what other products will fit on it.

Easy to Use
I needed to replace my grease gun for my bicycle parts. This gun is easy to use and easy to control the amount of grease. You do have to make sure the tube is squeezed up from the bottom to get the flow going. This was a bit of a pain relative to my last grease gun, but you get used to it.
