Excellent pen. Had the F version of the Pure Black e-Motion already but the pear wood EF writes extremely fine (as advertised) with better ink outflow regulation. Paired with the pear wood ballpoint, it makes a perfect combination at my work desk.

まず、他の方のレビューにある、キャップが後ろにはまらないということに関してですが、そんなことは全くありません。しかし、言いたいことは理解できます。なぜならば、セーラーの万年筆にも言えることですが、使い始めのうちはキャップが後ろにはまりにくく、それを初期不良か、と思ってしまう人も多いためです。 実際は使って10回目ともなると、もうキャップは落ちてこないようになります。というか、しっかりハマるようになります。セーラーの万年筆も同じです。 ペンについて。 とても素晴らしく、実用的だと思いました。海外製にしては字幅は本当に細いです。このEFのペン先はpilotのcocoonよりも細く、とっても実用的でした。

筆記時のキャップが後ろに止まらない件、メーカーに確認したところ、 ”重量バランスの関係で尻軸にキャップをささずにご使用いただくキャップオフスタイル万年筆”とのことでした。 私自身、メーカーの回答通りの仕様で全く支障はありません。キャップを差さなくてもとても気持ちいい筆記が楽しめます。またスチールニブならではのシャープな書き味が気に入っています。

この万年筆を３年間くらい使っています．金ペンもいくつか所有しておりますが，普段使うにはやはり鉄ペンの方が気が楽で好きです．キャップをはめないで書いてもそこそこな重量があり，書き味はよいです．ですが，後ろにはめて書いた方がやはり重量バランスがとてもよく気持ちよく書けます．デザインは少し諦めて木の部分の後ろの方に５ｍｍ幅くらいのマスキングテープを巻くとしっかりはまるようになります．

字幅はプラチナのF字と同じくらいです。 個体差かと思われますが、インクフローは激渋。ザリザリという書き心地。だから細い線が書けます。 インクスキップは当たり前、という状態です。ゆっくりゆっくり書くと、なんとか書き進められる、という感じです。行書でさらさらと〜は無理です。そういう書き方を想定していないと言われればその通りでしょう。 ということで、やや筆圧をかけないと文字にならないです。万年筆としてどうなの？ と思いました。 最初はセーラーのインクを入れましたが、上記のような状態なのでファーバーカステルのミッドナイトブルーを入れてみたのですが、結果は同じでした。 筆圧を掛けるとインクが普通に出ますが、それでも線を行き来させるハッチングは出来ません。塗りつぶすような書き方もほぼ不可能。真っ直ぐな線を同じ方向に引いて、それで重ねて書けば塗れる、という感じです。 デザイン的には鉄ペンにとしては高級感があって良いだけに、この書き味は本当に残念でした。 キャップポストすると重さがかかるので、書き味はやや良くなりますが、長時間は疲れます。

書き味は、とてもいいです。 太さは国産のFくらいで、ひっかかりもまったくなく、なめらかで インクの出もいいです。 さすがファーバーカステルです。 みためもかわいくて、持った感じの重さも書きやすさを助長してます。 とてもいい筆記具です。 ただ、 キャップがペン尻にきっちりはまりません。 ぐっ！とさしても、少し書くと、ぐらぐらして、重たいキャップが落ちます。 悲しいことに、それを知らずに、キャップをペン尻にさして、キャップのみを持ってしまいまして、 キャップがするっと外れて、机の上にペンが、ニブから落ちました。 かといって、キャップをペン尻につけずに書くのは、重さ的にもなんかコレジャナイってかんじがしますし、 なにより、ペンそのものがアンビションとかより短いため、書きにくいです。 どうしたものか。せっかく見た目も書き味もいいのに。くそが。

キャップが重めなのでキャップしたにしてしまうとインクがスムーズに出てよかったですよ！

The Faber-Castell e-motion fountain pen is a well designed and crafted pen, reasonably weighty, that sits comfortably in the hand and provides an excellent writing experience. The "pear wood black" body of the pen was a bit darker than I expected, but looks great, and I don't find the chrome grip section at all slippery. Very glad I went for the EF nib - it lives up to expectations, laying down a fine line without unduly restricting the flow of ink on paper. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Un peu déçu. J'ai pris une plume fine. J'ai l'impression que je vais déchirer la feuille, ce n'est pas spécialement agréable d'écrire avec une plume pareille. Mais aussi, un peu lourd comme stylo, je n'ai pas l'habitude. Radin : pour 100 euros = Emballé dans un mini carton de rien du tout, même pas une boîte présentoire,ni même une cartouche gratuite. Point positif, il est beau à regarder. Bref, à mon avis, prix légèrement trop haut. Voilà quand on commande sur le net.

Penna molto bella da vedere, ancora meglio il suo utilizzo. Il pennino extra fine di Faber Castell è molto scorrevole. Completamente soddisfatto

La pluma es muy bonita, con gran detalle. La estilográfica es pesada pero al quitarle el capuchón no lo es tanto, aún así no la consideraría para escribir gran tiempo con ella aunque su trazo es muy bueno y ligero. Por otro lado, la zona de sujeción debería ser moleteado o con alguna estría para que no se resbalaran los dedos. Respecto al grosor del trazo, me hubiera gustado un poco más fino. En general, muy buena pluma.

Very beautiful pen, sleek, modern and "shiny". The chrome metal is nicely polished to high degree of shine making it visually unmissable but that same polishing is a fingerprint magnet. If you're OCD about fingerprints, better pass this pen because both cap and section is shiny metal... The metal section can be a bit slippery but as the pen is relatively short and chunky, my fingers often rest on the top of the section avoiding too much slips. The wood from the barrel is thin but is beautiful. I think it's a core metal barrel with a thin layer of wood on top of it. It does the job but don't expect a handwork at this price point. It's a cartridge converter pen, nice and easy to use, clean. Mine have this little spring inside the converter to help the ink moving, I don't if it's a newer model or what. Would it be better with a piston filler? Maybe for ink capacity but definitely not for the hassle of cleaning... What about the steel nib? I ordered an Extra Fine nib and it performs well. It's a bit toothy, like a sharp pencil, but feedback depends on writing angle. I must admit I tend to rotate my pen towards right (unusual for right handers) so maybe I'm getting more feedback than usual. I used Diamine Denim in it, flow is good, line is thin and slightly wet. I have to note that on longer writing sessions, the EF nib tends to dry a bit after an A4 page and ink is losing a bit of saturation. I would have prefer a little more flow out of the box like the gold nibs from higher grade, but this is a sub 100€ pen. Verdict, a very nice pen with a good nib, more than decent esthetics. For the price, it's a good pen. Some would find it's expensive for a steel nib pen with cartridge converter. There are TWSBI pens with steel nib and piston filler at slightly lower price but you wouldn't get this kind of esthetics. In the end, as I have bought the pen, I'm positively biased : it's a good looking cartridge converter pen, performing well, from a very respected brand and the quality of Made in Germany speaks for itself.
