This Insulin Pen Cooler Travel Case is a useful item for my family who has a T1D family member. This Case can accommodate 2 insulin pens maximum and a very small number of extras if used as intended. The case is put together well, and the zips dependable and sturdy. The temperature display is clear to read in daylight and comes with both batteries inside, and a spare unopened packet too. A real nice touch. The display is connected to an internal temperature probe on the end of a cable. The case comes with a large ice pack which you freeze before use, which is shaped to hold 2 insulin pens. There is also a small couple of mesh pockets on the inside lid. The insulated case works well keeping its contents cool for over 8 hours before beginning to noticeably increase the temperature. One hack we use, is instead of using the included ice pack is to use smaller flatter ice packs, and you can fit a LOT more in this case, not just the pens but spare insulin vials and other temperature-controlled medication, and the case works just as well. Its a good alternative to FRIO wallets for carrying insulin pens around for T1D families.

I used this travel cooler to carry temperature sensitive items while travelling for the day. The case feels well made and compact, and the internal space was easy to organise. The cooling brick fit neatly inside and kept the contents cool for several hours. The temperature display was easy to read and reassuring to check during travel. The magnolia colour looks subtle and clean, and the zip feels secure. Overall, it feels practical, thoughtfully designed, and good value for regular travel use.

Die Temperatur wird tatsächlich lange gehalten. Über das Gewicht mit einem gefrorenen Akku muss man sich im Klaren sein. Für Medikamente, die nicht zu kalt (gefroren) gelagert werden sollen/dürfen, bedarf es einer früheren Entnahme des Akkus vor dem Transport.
