HOU Keyboard Case for iPad Mini 7th (A17 Pro, 2024) & 6th (2021) 8.3-inch, Ultra Slim Folio Type of Keyboard, Power Display, Magnetic Protective Cover Support iPad Mini 6/7

This really is a lovely little device. It fits perfectly to my iPad mini and looks really smart. I love that it is so lightweight and not at all bulky. I was a bit apprehensive as some of the reviews mentioned some of the keys were in the wrong place but mine are all in the right place for a UK keyboard :-) and it’s true that there isn’t a £ sign on the keyboard however if you do a bit of googling, it’s possible to see all the shortcut keys when using the various control, option, or CMD keys and the £is there hidden under the number 3 key. It is so light that it is slightly flexible and of course it’s very small to fit in with the iPad so typing does take a little bit of getting used to but once you’ve got the hang of it it’s much quicker than typing with the screen and of course you can see the whole screen as half of it isn’t hidden by the keyboard, which is what happens when the keyboard pops up on the screen. I did have an issue with this device when it first arrived as I couldn’t get the charging to work I contacted the seller who was extremely responsive and extremely helpful and the and this issue was sorted. I’ve had it a few weeks. I have the white version. It’s not showing any marks yet so so far. I’m really impressed that the battery is due to last 200 hours from a full charge I’m a very long way away from reaching 200 hours of use, but it does seem to be lasting very well.

Light, sturdy, connects immediately and well put together. The battery lasts for ages and protects the iPad. Only two considerations: 1) doesn’t have a backlight 2) it uses a proprietary cable to charge, so if you lose it, you’re in trouble. This is not arbitrary. The keyboard is so thin that it was impossible to fit a usb-c connection in there. I find it easy enough to type considering the size of the iPad and the keyboard itself. To me, this is the best keyboard for the iPad mini

Good robust case. The keyboard is a reasonable size considering the size it can be, but I often find if typing fast it often misses letters and you have to delete and correct frequently. I've tries repairing but always have the same issue. If you're looking for something you can type quickly and frequently with, this may not be the case for you.

I really wanted this to work…it is a minimalist design, the soft touch finish echoes the Apple iPad mini folio case, it is relatively light, it doesn’t interfere with the magnetic attachment of an Apple Pencil, the keys feel nice to the touch but the keyboard just doesn’t work reliably. About 20% of the time keys don’t register so you have to rely on autocorrect or go back and edit a word. It makes using it intensely frustrating. I thought I was just unlucky but on my third replacement I have now sadly had to give up. It’s such a shame.

Lovely design and nice size but falls down on the most aspect of any keyboard - reliably registering each and every keystroke. Such a shame as great in every other regard.

Over all it’s an OK case but can’t really be called as a case as it doesn’t protect anything - the ipad just sits on it like a stand. Out of the 3 I tried it was the best looking keyboard but not practical to protect your device

Received a different model. But works very well. The keyboard has mousepad and key size is just perfect. I can work on ppts and excels comfortably. The keyboard is easy to detach. Must have for ipad mini. There is a slot for pencil to charge.

Pro:Its the thinnest lightest keyboard available for ipad mini. All the others were bulky and heavy. This has great quality build and keys. You can take it off the case easily. Strong magnets hold ipad in place. Cons: I wish the closing would be better. Often the magnets won’t close the case all the way but its not terrible. I wish there was a version with track pad but there isnt room given the mini size. A track pad would also make the case too heavy. The angle of the kickstand could be better. Magic keyboard has a frontward facing angle but again this is minor. Overall: great price, good quality, and lightest keyboard with sleek look and great keys on the market. This is the best you can make it given ipad mini small size.
