I have been using the Peter Thomas Roth Instant FIRMx Eye Tightener for a while now, and I have very specific thoughts on how to make it work (or not work). The Pros: It Really Does Work Wonders. The effectiveness is undeniable. When applied correctly, this product visibly reduces my "11s" and dramatically smooths out my crow's feet within minutes. The temporary tightening effect is impressive—it genuinely makes you look refreshed and years younger for several hours. For a special event or a big meeting, this stuff is pure magic. It delivers on its core promise of instant results. The Cons: The glowing results come with a few notable trade-offs that prevent it from being a daily "holy grail" for me: Drying Sensation: My biggest issue is that it dries out the skin around my eyes. The instructions emphasize applying it to clean, dry skin before other products, which means you're putting this tightener directly onto bare skin without a buffer of moisturizer. This contributes significantly to the feeling of dryness. Residue Issues: If you use slightly too much, or don't blend perfectly, it can leave a white, flaky residue that looks like dry skin or dandruff. You have to use a very thin layer and sometimes dab away excess with a damp Q-tip once dry. Layering Limitations: The tightener works by forming a film. It works well, but demands a compromise on other skincare steps.

This stuff absolutely reduces puffiness/bags under my eyes within a few minutes of applying. It has taken me several uses to find the right amount. Too little and the tightening effects aren't good/are inconsistent. Too much and I get crustiness and flakiness. The tightening effects last all day until I wash my face. While I understand the tint color was added to counteract white flaking, adding dark color under the eye area makes the appearance of dark circles worse. I can't apply liquid makeup over this, as the moisture causes it to come off (and puffiness/bags return). Applying powdered makeup over it accentuates and crusty/flakey spots. That said, I'll take the darkened undereye area over the baggy one. Having used this every day for 2 weeks now, I have some sensitivity/irritation under one eye. Applying the product in that area Burns a little and gives the appearance of a slight scab when dried.

I am not one to usually leave reviews but I had to share these results for those who are skeptical. If I could give this 10 stars I would. I was very skeptical to try this Peter Thomas Roth product due to some pretty bad reviews but I'm so glad I did. I've been looking for something to use for my daughter's up coming wedding and I have definitely found it. You can literally feel your skin tightening. There is no redness or burning. There are a few little white specks that show up from time to time when applying but very easy to just gently get off with ease. It dries super fast and stays all day until you wash it off bc it does not absorb into your skin like lotion. You can gently put your makeup on over it like normal bc it is tinted and blends with ease. One thing I have noticed is once it dries, do not mess with or pull the skin in those areas or you will have to rinse it off and reapply because it will show wrinkled areas where the cream has been pulled. Also it seems the longer it's on the more annoying it feels but if you can get past that you're golden. It will stay on as long as you want it to but once you wash it off, your bags will reappear instantly. These are things I've noticed myself but tinker with it a few times to see what works best for you. It is very expensive, so I only use it on special occasions and a little goes a long way. And the brush is very helpful. I hope my review helps those who are also skeptical bc of the bad reviews. Give it a try... it's worth it.

I was excited when I recieved this. I applied it and it does just what they say, but the skin around my eyes felt dreid out and tight. You can not put eye cream on after applying. I did apply eye cream because I was curiouse to see what it would do and my under eye bags came right back and made a white film around my eyes. Not sure of makeup but I will try it. Not sure if I will buy it again. Dissapointed.

As a man, I have found it nearly impossible to find a product to make the bags under my eyes less noticeable. I was not willing to spend hundreds of dollars for a product that I had no idea if it would even work. I asked so many women what they use to help their eye bags, and I found they were just as clueless. Upfront - you should be aware the effect is temporary - BUT IT WORKS! I used for the first time on Sunday, and I went to visit my daughter who lives out of town. The first thing she said was - Dad, you look great, did you lose weight? I proceeded to tell her what I used and she immediately ordered the product. I used again today for a Zoom meeting, and FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE PANDEMIC - I actually was happy to see my face on camera, with no eye bags!! Men - the product has a slight tint to it, but it blends extremely well with the applicator brush. No need to worry about looking like you are wearing cosmetics (if that is a concern). I wake up with bags under my eyes due to sleep apnea and seasonal allergies. They are so bad, I nicknamed my eye bags as Southwest Airlines on the right side, and American Airlines on the left side (bad joke, but that’s how bad my eye bags are). All I can say, is I finally found a product that ACTUALLY WORKS and is not overly priced. Whether you are a man or a woman, this product is a MUST HAVE if you have eye bags. The tightening effects last quite a while. A touch up after work may be necessary if you plan on going out later in the evening. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND - 1,000%!

I have been wanting to try this product for a while because of all the ads I see and I tried it for the first time this past month and I absolutely love it. It does exactly what it’s supposed to makes your wrinkles disappear, and yes, they do come back, however, for at least five hours they are completely gone, and it pulls out the puffiness from under my eyes. I absolutely love this. I went on subscription for it.

This works…kind of. It does provide a temporary reduction of under eye bags. But it make the area feel and look dry. Instead of a younger look, if you have the start of wrinkles, it makes them stand out more. Also if you use a tad too much you get a white film on your skin. I’m. It really a fan and wouldn’t use daily but I’ll keep and use when I feel I really need it.

No cumple lo que promete , es falsa la publicidad , deja la piel seca y con las mismas arrugas , no desinflama las bolsas debajo de los ojos , solo parece una capa blanquecina la verdad no tiren su dinero en este producto , le pongo cero.

Didn’t want to give it any stars, but couldn’t do review without selecting at least one star! This product is Horrible, makes your face feel stiff and once you start talking and smiling it wears off. If you happen to cross over any other product where you applied this, it leaves a white powdery looking film on your face, looks like you forgot to blend face powder. It’s garbage, and garbage is where it went.

did nothing for me. made the bags worse and then when I tried to put make up on after make up was caked on, sorry rather deal with the bags, had high hopes for this product but did not work for me x
