Know before you order.
Attractive design, maximizes viewing area. Easy to set-up. Unit advertising shows the TV with a stand- this is deceptive, as no stand is supplied with unit. 12V power supply cord is designed to be "hard-wired", so you cannot unpack and start watching TV. I am a "do-it yourselfer", so I had resources most campers probably do not. I spliced a 12V male plug on to the power supply cord. No manual supplied, it must be downloaded. Good unit otherwise.

First impressions very favorable
Purchased the JTV24DC for a very small travel trailer and just finished testing it there with broadcast stations. Set seems very solidly built and readily accepted a generic VESA rear mounting bracket. Shipping box well padded and can serve as a good transport case for the TV (and remote and related cables) when on the road with TV dismounted. Picture is crisp and bright, and sound volume and quality is more than adequate for the area where used. Primary TV controls are readily accessible (on R side of frame) and several output connection ports are also conveniently accessible from the frame's L side -- SPDIF, AV (3 RCA phono plugs), audio (2 phono plugs) -- along with the DC 'in' connection port. Most 'input' connections are on the back side -- not so readily accessed -- USB, HDMI, PC (VGA+ audio), component (3 RCA plugs), and COAX antenna cable ('RF IN'). Altho that works for hard-wired components, for anyone intermittently using HDMI or VGA output from a computer or other device, short extension connectors left in place would make quick connection/disconnection much easier once the TV is mounted. The TV reputedly draws up to 3.3 amps (40 watts on 12v DC) (that was not tested). One very important characteristic merits mention: Although some contemporary TVs do not allow 'adding' a station if its signal is too weak to trigger capture in auto-scan, this TV does allow 'forcing' the addition of channels even if the signal strength meter treats signal strength as 'bad'. As we live in an area with marginal broadcast reception (even with power-boosted antennas), and the travel trailer often is used in places far from powerful TV signals, the ability to 'force' the set to tune to a channel not picked up by auto-scan is very useful. In the test run here, auto-scan 'found' only 3 stations, but another 9 were added simply by coding in the first digit of the station number (such as '13') and waiting (the tuner then picked up all four '13' local variants -- 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 and 13.4 -- and, even though the set labeled the signal strength for each as 'bad', the picture and sound quality were both fine (and the 'info' and EPG features worked with each). One critical comment: Jensen / ASA Electronics ships this WITHOUT an owner's manual, claiming that this makes them 'green' -- it doesn't. Downloading the manual from their site and then printing it simply puts the externalities burden on the customer. It would help if the manual could easily be printed as a booklet only with one chosen language -- it's hardly green to try to print the manual in 'booklet' form but then get 31 additional pages of material (a bonus extra?) in a secondary language the customer neither needed nor wanted, which is what happens with the 'green' approach of forcing customers to download and print manuals, especially multi-language ones.OVERALL: It appears to suit our needs exactly, and -- if no problems develop (this review will be updated if they do) -- this seems to be an excellent TV for a traveler into non-urban areas who wants occasional broadcast TV plus potential display of material from a computer or other VGA or HDMI device. And it definitely provides a great improvement over watching videos on a laptop computer screen.

Replaced je2412led
I bunged up a je2412led in my Lance 1995 and this cost a lot less. It's almost the same TV ... has one less HDMI port but I only have a Roku streaming stick plugged in besides the Jensen AV/DBD system. The wife is happy so I'm happy.

There is better
Hi, I want to thank Amazon- always deliver, even if it's so loose :) in the box. Almost returned, tv was not getting any channels in RV. With other getting enough? So, I brought it home, and it ...worked. Kind of. No magic, rf "air" will not work, with HDMI on??? Module gets hot. For the price, no wifi, it is obsolete. But picture is good, recognises other "jensen" devices. So, what else? Light bleeding is the worst ever seen. LED light- so bad in background. Go with LG or else, Amazon has it. WIFI, LG. This is what I saw.P.S. LCD panel was loose in the bezel or housing, with some rattle like a loose screw. True.

The 24 inch Jensen 12 Volt TV is outstanding!
I bought this 24 inch 12 V Jensen LED TV and installed it in my 25 foot travel trailer. It was challenging routing power from an overhead light to the location of my TV but the rest of the installation was simple and straightforward. The TV came with a nice long power cord with plug and 7.5 amp in-line fuse. When I turned it on I plugged in my amplified portable antenna into the USB power plug on the back of the TV. It took about 3 to 4 minutes to scan the channels and I was delighted to see I had 12 clear channels +3 more that were Spanish only and one that was pixelated. I was able to go to the menu and hide the channels I didn’t want to see. The picture is beautiful! I could see it from all points in the trailer without needing to pivot the TV mount. The sound was fine for the interior of a 25 foot trailer. I don’t see what everybody’s complaining about with the sound. It was fine. This is not a TV that you’re going to sit around watching musicals on. I am completely happy with my purchase and the way the TV installed. Thank you Jensen.

The TV works great with good picture quality and okay sound. Mounting bracket hole pattern was different than previous TV.

Only get if you really need a 12v LED display
Installed this in our camping trailer. Main reason for purchasing was for the ease of running it on 12v DC instead of AC as we camp without hookups more often than with. One of the things you notice right away is how thin the plastic on is and relatively flexible. Not what I was hoping for in this price range. The image quality is decent enough. Sound is not great but I always use a separate sound system if I care about what I’m hearing. There is a fair amount of backlight bleed. Overall, the quality and the lack of streaming features make it hard to recommend. It’ll do what we want but for dry camping, but it’s a bit overpriced just for the 12v feature. Next time, I’ll think more about using an inverter with a regular tv from a company more well known for their displays.
