Battery is an exact fit and has the same specifications as the original laptop’s battery. The included tools helped with the installation which is an easy task. Battery happened to be on sale at the time I was searching for a replacement. So far, the new battery has been performing very well. It’s nice not being tied down to the power adapter plugged into a wall outlet.

The battery works great. It looks and fits like the OEM Dell battery - easy to install. It was packaged well and came charged at 90%. A screwdriver is included along with an extra screw. The battery health and wear seems to be reporting properly in HWiNFO. Great value for my money.

Work as described would purchase the item if needed again. Note however, this is based on short term use and not long-term experience.

I purchased this battery in 2020 and it worked pretty well for a little over two years. Once it started to fail, it was very quick. I just bought another replacement. Two years is definitely on the low end of the average lifespan for a battery, but for what I paid, I can't complain.

Installed and worked on a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 7. The tools supplied were a nice plus. So far, I've only 24 hours of testing on the battery, including a full battery reset test using Lenovo's Commercial Vantage software. It correctly identified the battery, and had no issues. While it's only been one day of testing so far, I'm hoping this battery will provide reasonable longevity. Adding that after roughly 30 days of use, there have been no issues. I've leveraged using Lenovo Commercial Vantage software to lock charging to 50% of battery capacity, which dramatically increases battery longevity on any Li Ion battery.

Very low-quality battery. When the battery reached 30%, the laptop shut down with no prompts. My thinkpad x1 carbon gen 7 had the dreaded “no battery detected” problem since day one, and nothing fixed it. The OEM battery finally died, so I tried this replacement. Install took less than 10 minutes, and not only it worked right away, but the detection issue disappeared too! Couldn’t be happier.

BEST BATTERY COMPANY EVER!!! I ordered a replacement battery for my Lenovo X1 carbon from AC Doctor Inc, it died in 6 months. I contacted AC Doctor INC, doubtful they would do anything. But THEY REPLACED MY 6 MONTH OLD BATTERY WITH A NEW ONE! These guys get 5 stars in my book! I would give them 10 stars if I could. They stand behind their products obviously! I got this battery for a laptop I was given for free with a dead battery, therefore I am unable to compare this battery with the original one in terms of battery life. What I can say is this one lasts about 1h15mins when fully charged. The new unit fits nicely in the slot. I did what another review said and "conditioned" the battery when I first got it to maximize the chances of it performing well. I will come back to edit this review in a couple months if something major happens.
