Great Product !! Works Perfect for Canadian Winters!!
This is the Heater installed in my Chevy Step van! ... 0°F Outside? NO coat Inside !!! Once I figured out how to operate the Controller, it works perfectly! No "pairing" of the remote was necessary, No Pump Priming needed. My Unit came with the latest Blue Controller (there are MANY variations) ... Mine was bought in Canada it came with the "Blue Controller with Gear Icon" and "Black Remote (27A 12 V Battery), with no screen on Remote". Additionally to Identify this Controller ... the "Mountain Symbol" (for high elevation use) is a YELLOW Mountain, and it is activated By pressing "Gear + OK" at the same time. The instructions are very cryptic as expected, it's NOT all their faut though it must be very difficult to keep up with the latest improvements the factory makes to the controllers ... This one I have (Again Blue with gear, with 3 wires on the plug (and the Yellow Mountain) is reported to be VERY reliable. DO check on YouTube on how to set your up, it may take a few tries! Facebook has an excellent UK Based page for tips on installation and operation I will run it on Diesel fuel, but to test it ... I used Kerosene (kind of expensive here) with a 3 or 4 tablespoons of STP Oil, per refill to lube the pump .. Diesel has excellent lubrication properties and needs no additional oil The factory recommends DIESLE only BTW (which is best, as it is ALSO very inexpensive, and always available) But many people use Kerosene with no problems :) Best Heater in Chicago Kraco!!!

Rien a dire , bon produit

Stay Away.... keep your hair and sanity and don't buy this thing!
I bought this end of September. I set it up as a heater in my Ford Transit as I am a cross border delivery driver and I am in my van 3 months at a time. Set up was simple but could have been streamlined if they would have included an air intake hose and exhaust hose that were longer and more suited for this setup. Had to purchase an extender just to ensure exhaust was pipe put from under van. With that said... first start was insanely smokey. When I say it looked like a forest fire, I'm not joking. For 15 minutes it billowed smoke. After 15 it subsided and was clean. First burn was 4 hours. Second was clean and 6 hours, burn in smell gone at end of second burn. Third burned clean for 8 hours. The fourth time I ran it was on the road, burned on high at full load like the other times, it was -17⁰C (1⁰F) outside, with only this heater it kept my van at 74⁰F. I ran it for 11.5 hours, and it used about 80% of the tank. About a week later, as I tried to start it the fifth time, it was 21⁰F outside, it didn't start. I got several different codes trying to start it. (E8 and E10) Finally looked it up and it said to replace the glow plug. A pretty simple job, if you can install this thing, you can replace the glow plug.... but should I really have to replace it after 4 uses? That's $22 CAD that I paid for a new glow plug and 1.5hrs of my time. NOTE: (4 Months after purchase) It has not gotten better. Only worse. Because I use this while on the road doing deliveries coast to coast, I am in different weather depending on location. So I don't constantly need to use this heater. This is where the problems arise. Because its diesel it build up soot in the warming chamber, when its used you just run it on high at full heat 104⁰F for about an hour and it will pretty much burn it off which allows it to work properly. Its when this thing sits longer than a few days without running that you can have issues with codes E8 and E10 (Flame going out). There is no real fix for this except a burn off if you can start it, or tear it apart and physically clean the chamber the glow plug sits in. A huge Pain In The A!! This is the biggest complaint. Not the only one. I'd give 0 stars if possible, this is seriously a huge issue and a waste of money. Let me be VERY CLEAR TO YOU the reader.... you will go through the reviews as I did and read the positive and negative reviews. You will notice that the positives outweigh the negative reviews just as I saw.... and that might sway you to buy this thing... DON'T, keep your hair and sanity if this is going in a truck, car, van, rv.... maybe this would do better in a shop or garage environment due to insulation or regular daily use. If your on the road, you need RELIABILITY and this IS NOT THE UNIT FIR RELIABILITY! Most Chinese diesel heater suffer this same problem but its possible a hundred dollars more for an upgraded version like LF suitcase style diesel heater may be more effective. Ive decided to forego the diesel heater and use a nice electric heater on my 4000w inverter generator, over night the fuel use is basically the same as this diesel heater, but reliability is 100%.

Works great!
Works great! Used it to heat shop. I think it's equivalent to a 4500 watt electric heater. Used it one year, didn't like diesel/used oil mix, shut down and I had take it apart and clean it. Works great on straight diesel. My son also bought one. I have a gas furnace now but I will use it in my enclosed trailer.

Nice economical product
No problems with the heater it's nice but doesn't really heat my 2.5 car garage in the Wisconsin winters. Very economical as far as fuel consumption goes. Happy with the performance but should have bought a bigger one for my garage.
