Very easy to use since it is digital.
This meter is very easy to use. Just key up and read the Power, Reverse Power and VSWR simultaneously. The meter does not have to be switched to read the power and VSWR like with an analog Power/SWR meter that has only one meter, and there is no parallax error like with a cross-needle Power/SWR meter. The backlight works well. The instructions say that USB, alkaline, NiCad or NiMH cells can be used, but I have found that the battery level gauge reads low with fully charged NiMH cells. Therefore, I am using AA alkaline cells, which give a full reading when they are new. The power can be supplied with a USB cable also, but for me that is just one extra cable, so am using using battery power. This meter looks exactly like an MFJ model, and I have a feeling they are both made by the same manufacturer.

Battery is not worth it; device as expected
Got this for a fixed mobile install. Picked up a USB to 12v converter and USB cable so I could wire into the car's accessory power. SWR seems to work from my antenna swaps (various antenna on same NMO mount) and I did get better readings on some antenna than others. Not bench tested. Light does go out after some bit with no TX. Does not light or meter any RX. Used 3M Dual Lock to mount so I could remove as needed and use battery's as a backup. As others said battery life alone is goof for quick field testing. Exactly what I was expecting; Perfect size and display for my use.

works great.
I wish it had an internal rechargeable battery and turned off automatically. Otherwise, works great.

Nice screen, Small and accurate
Great meter for testing in the shack or in the field. Only takes 2 batteriesGreat clear big numbers on the screen.

Works as expected and handy to have for mobile or portable operation.
Works just fine. Handy to use, especially for mobile and or portable operation. (Don't forget to have on hand or buy a short cable for use between it and the radio.) The backlight is a nice feature, but that will chew up the batteries. Compared readings with my BIRD 43 (on VHF only) and both agreed! As with all products of this nature the instructions are not worth anything. I really would like to know the intended use of the micro USB(?) port on the side. Can it be used to power the device? Is it intended to solely recharge a battery if a rechargeable battery is even available? Is it a USB interface for a software application? Curious minds will be dissecting this unit to answer these questions and more unless you can tell me.

OK item
I wouldn't recommend it. The meter is off a little, when compared to my other SWR/watt meters .. This also requires a battery just to operate it ..
