Although I received it today, assembly was a breeze and I ran it for maybe a half hour but I’m very impressed with the tilling power! It’s a well built machine and great that it has a shoulder strap because it’s fairly heavy. I also love the fact it comes with two batteries, this way there’s no mandatory breaks waiting for the battery to recharge. I’m happy with this purchase thus far.

We have a very small garden and had a lot of over grown ivy and Hasta that we wanted to uproot. We cut the Hasta and ivy down to the soil 1st using a hedge trimmer. The tiller did a pretty good job at turning the soil and getting to the roots of the unwanted plants. Works great and works hard considering the low cost to purchase. It comes with 2 batteries and for our garden, each battery lasted 20 to 30 minutes on a full charge and takes roughly 3 hours to recharge each battery. All and all, we were able to get the job done with both batteries and are satisfied with the results. It's great for small jobs, but I would not recommend for anything requiring more than about 50 minutes worth of work.

This cultivator is not a quality product. It worked about 4 times when I got it July 2025. It sat through the winter and I used it <5 minutes in early March when it began to make grinding noises and the motor started smoking. It has a 1 year warranty. I contacted PROTEX by email. After several attempts I finally got a response asking for more info, which I provided. I’ve not heard from them since. I contacted Amazon and was told I’d get a refund. That hadn’t happened either.

It does break up the dirt but it is also heavy . Out of the box the finger switch stuck on and I had to remove the battery to stop it .

I thought that this would be difficult to work with but it was easy for me. It worked for exactly what I needed it for. Instructions (photos) weren't very clear but it really took common sense to put it together. I 💞 luv it!

*Updated Review - Seller reached out and resolved the issue* I only got to use the product one time for 30 minutes then it malfunctioned. On day one, I had to keep adjusting the handlebar for proper alignment to get the motor to engage because the motor was on but the blades would not spin. Now the motor runs and makes an odd sound and the blades will not work properly. Of course, it's over the 30 day return period. I've contacted the seller but no response. I would not recommend this product. Its not worth the hassle.

This is better than I expected. The batteries each last about 15 minutes straight and nice they come with 2 plus a charger. The soil has to be soft so I'd use it after a larger tiller has worked the soil and 1 - 2 times per week throughout the growing season. Easy to maneuver around garden plants.
